I took this photograph this morning looking out my front door. We were suppose to get a "light dusting" of snow last night; instead, we got about 7-inches and expect about 2-3 more. This is on top of the 1-inch of ice already on the roads from Monday's storm.

Yeah ... that looks similar to the 'light dusting' we had here in December

Love this thread! I'm in the Southwest US. And here are some pictures of our surrounds. We're rural.
Most of these are taken on our property.

This is our "street".

Out our kitchen window:

Cholla blossoming

Okay so this is boston. The better parts

That is the Boston harbor...I love the dirty water...And trust me it is DIRTY!

This is yawkey way leading into Fenway Park. There is nothing like the feeling you get walking down yawkey way before a game or concert!

Fenway park! good pic of the legendary Green Monster!

The boston garden!

The state house after the celtics became NBA champs!

Up close of the freedom trail if you follow these red bricks all around boston it takes you on a trip around historic boston, it leads to the boston common, bunker hill, Paul revere's house and many other places

I'm really pleased that you decided to add some pics of Boston ... it looks great to me but I guess you have to live in a place to really know it

I love the 'freedom trail' idea

I'd be right in there with the dog looking for fossils or interesting pieces of wood that I could make wands from

I am jealous. Some of you people live in places that look like vacation destinations.
Very nice pictures.

There really are some gorgeous pictures so far and I'm looking forward to lot's more.

But don't forget we want to see the city and suburban landscapes too ... it's the member diversity that makes ATS such an amazing place.

Clouds before the last storm.

Palm in the backyard.

Masons Bakersfield Lodge #224 I installed a the video surveillance system and security system back
in 2007. I took alot of pictures of the inside and out, but my camera was stolen. Very interesting inside, it even had a full theatre and stage. I managed to upload a couple before my camera was stolen.

Here's my hometown (population 25,000). I live in the southeast USA.

Downtown:

Within the City Limits (where I live):

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/8de9eb5d53b4.jpg[/atsimg]

The famous South Boundary Road (still within the city limits):

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/6e385eab1363.jpg[/atsimg]

The Mile Track (within the city limits). We have a large equestrian community. Several Kentucky Derby winners have trained here. Polo is every Sunday at 3:00 pm (at the polo field about 1/4 mile away, not here).

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/c79a66f86b3b.jpg[/atsimg]

Sand River (right around the corner from where I live). This river only flows when there has been rain. The more rain the more it flows.

A friend's farm (obviously not in the city limits).:

Stunning !

Looking at the pictures that members have added just so far it makes me realize what a beautiful planet we are honoured to live on ... and that includes the cities and less pretty areas because every single inch has a story to tell.

Keep these amazing pictures coming I'm really enjoying seeing and sharing.
