No, it has nothing to do with that. It was a faulty electronic component from the security system that automatically shut down the power plant.

This is what happened: A few states on northern Brazil stayed 4 hours without energy because of a faulty equipment that triggered the security system to shut down, causing a few areas to go dark. Because of that the power grids became unbalanced, triggering a domino effect, making other areas and states go dark.

No Conspiracy or Pole Shift here, it happens.

and i believe when a EMP happens,my cellphone and watch would stop too right? plus,the power didint went down immediately,it gradually reduced volts.

Texas was having rolling blackouts yesterday. They electricity would stay off about 15 - 20 minutes then come back on. And of course there were a lot of people in the Northeast that didn't have electricity because of the weather, they had to open places with heat for people to go to. The US has been really lucky though when you look at all the disasters worldwide.

It's actually striking 18 states...

The problem is being investigated.
Some theories say there was a bad federal administration at eletric posts, others say there was corruption of the transmission cables because of the bad weather. The weather in south countries is getting really chaotic this year. The temperature at northeast is surpassing 43º Celcius, causing excessive storms and destructive floods everywhere!

The news are outdated, they are saying really few things about it

correction: 8 states.

So the reason is unclear and no updates as to whether power outages are occuring. Here in Indiana US we had brown outs yesterday. Today was the geomagnetic storm today and the only report I have is a lot of skipping on Ham radios.

The government are investigating yet.

If it's not solar flare, maybe this may caused by the South Atlantic Anomaly ?

It cover all the affected area of the blackout.




I will dedicated attention for the news here and any information I will report in the thread.
