Looking for info on Wages paid in my area

I'm posting this for a friend....

she wants to know how she can find out what other companies are paying associates for the job that she is currently doing ?

She feels very underpaid and unappreciated after being on the job for 9 years and not being recognized for her hard work and efforts.

Any help is greatly appreciated as usual.

What category of job and where does she live?

(and yes, she may be right on the money. I won't go into the long feminist rant about women's salaries versus men's salaries... but I have a nice long rant about promotions and salaries and job opportunities from the woman's standpoint.)

she works in the Marketing Research field , not telemarketing...
