Referring to your oven use, we converted a regular gas range to propane portable tank, put wheels on it and we able to take it catering on site when events required cooking on site in a tent kitchen. Have extra teflon tape to seal connections. The connection hose has a regulator on it. Use proper tools to make the connection. The thermostat controlled oven temp. We have used this same beat up oven for parties for years now. I woke up this morning thinking....brick oven? I am in a region I could find a traditional wood cookstove, and still have a flue in the house I am in. Will be having a skilled chimney sweep check it out. About hot baths, I found two big kettles of hot water to about a 1/4 tub of cold makes for a decently hot bath.

Hope this helps.
