Never underestimate the power of one person. And the internet. (the subtitles are a little off center but you can still read)

This vlog was recorded on January 18th by Asma Mahfouz, the girl who started it all. She had shared it on her Facebook, and it had gone viral. It was so powerful and so popular, that it drove Egyptians by the thousands into Tahrir Square, and drove the Egyptian government to block Facebook.

Excellent post. NEVER underestimate the power of one person! Every important thing in history began as a thought in someONE's head.

I feel her passion. And everything she said applies to the US.

Good video. I got tears in my eyes.

Thanks a lot for that!

That gal is a true hero... she should have the highest honor in Egypt given once Mubarak is overthrown!

She's a real patriot and a real human being!

We all could learn from her.

A great women indeed
S&F
BUT in my opinion what truly lay the cornerstone of revolution is the heart, the willingness, and the sacrifice of the people.
She can talk all day if she wanted to, but if the people chose not to do anything then her video is just another video on the net.

"Wake up, people"
