John Barry: Great Film Composer Passes

John Barry, the composer of so many beautiful film sound tracks has passed away. He was most famous for writing the lush and gorgeous sound tracks to such James Bond films as Moonraker, but also wrote the music for Out of Africa and other films. His was a very distinctive and beautiful voice in cinematic music and will be sorely missed.

It's sad to think that no more will the name of John Barry grace the credits of a motion picture.
