Safeway - Underground Facility!

A friend of a friend works for a construction company in the state of Washington, they have received a contract to build a "large" underground facility, not a parking lot!

I cannot give proof because I have none and I will not give names. Just looking into safeway alone reveals some interesting information. Tuscon shooting, international growth, government relationships, Merrill Lynch, etc etc.

I am not sure which category to place this in exactly. The first thing that came to mind was "food vault" type scenario Maybe it's cheaper to store food underground?

yes,, Safeway in auburn has a HUGE facility....

i hope THAT is not where the underground storage will be,,,

it is in the VALLEY of volcano Rainier's paraclastic Flows,(dang spellcheck)

just a short flow down to the water of lake Washington 50 or so miles..
that valley really is like a half pipe that runs all that distance..

whatever..

i will look into the truth..

I was told about a year ago from a Home Depot employee that the company has a complete underground store in one of the southeastern states, I think Georgia, eEvidently, their corp. headquarters. The underground store is complete with items and is just for training purposes. Is this important? I have no idea....

Is this reported underground facility for something sexy like:

1) a surreptitious food storage program
2) a secret rendition facility for the CIA
3) a FEMA internment camp
4) a summer camp for greys and or reptilian

OR something boring like:

1) A safe & secure storage depot for paper and magnetic business records.
