Trump takes aim at America’s “horrible” trade agreements, declares that the Middle East is going to explode, warns about “catastrophic” oil prices, and charges that Obama’s Afghanistan policy is “dangerous and stupid.” He also complains that the United States is a “laughing stock” throughout the world — and confirms that he is seriously considering running for president in 2012. Interesting Donald Trump possibly taking a swing at the presidency? I dont know if that would be really scary or maybe a good thing. He certainly made a lot of good points in the article as it also includes his thoughts on OPEC and other situations.

Anyhow since Jessie Ventura was thrown out there a month or so ago, I thought it would be interesting to see how folks might feel about Trump running.

Here is another snip about what he thinks about OPEC and the possibility of Oil prices going down.

Trump has a surprising response to speculation that the turmoil in Egypt and other countries in the Middle East could push oil prices to as high as $200 a barrel. “It also could go the other way. Frankly, the Middle East is a tinderbox. It’s going to explode. OPEC will probably be destroyed if it explodes, and oil prices could go the other way. “I understand economics. You break up what would normally be an illegal monopoly, OPEC, and break it up very strongly. The Middle East is exploding, and I’m saying that could have a positive impact on oil prices. “If you look at oil right now, it’s soon going to be $100 a barrel. Far too high. It’s set by OPEC. I think OPEC would explode with the Middle East and that wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world.”

If he thinks he has a chance of becoming President, he must also be Bloodline. Also no good.

The last thing the US needs is another Illuminati puppet in charge.

And I don't care how nice his words are when he has a camera or microphone stuffed in his face.

Okay, the sad thing is that people would vote for him in droves. The number of people that think he is the world's smartest business man is disheartening. Then you have the tens of thousands that would vote for him because he was on tv. I think he has a real shot at a strong showing in the primaries if he runs.

His company that runs the Trump casinos has filed for bankruptcy three times with him as CEO. He had to give up a chunk of his share in the company and now only owns 27% of the company. Is that really the track record we need right now?

I believe it would take a person just like Trump to bust up this circus we have now. I think he can beat the skinny socialist. "Dump the Chump, Vote for Trump"

He would have to run as an Independent.

The Republicans wouldn't allow him to take the primaries.

I hope he doesn't try...he is kind of an idiot.

What? Multi-Level-Marketing and "reality TV" not profitable enough anymore?

Donald Trump is fairly popular among a certain kind of person in the American Northeast, but he has less name recognition and popularity outside of the region. Also -- it would take an act of god for a real estate speculator to be elected president in the current economy.

LoL at you all. You know trump is an idiot eh? whats that make you, considering he's worth about 30,000 of you?

Yes, Trump is a ruthless business man. He maybe be a little greedy. But heres the thing. If he was president, he would do everything he could to protect this country and business in our country. Do you think he would want to lower his own value through poor leadership?

If you listen to trump and some of the things he has been saying about debt, china, free trade, globalism, I actually hope he runs, which i find very ironic b/c on a personal level, I dont really like him. But if you want this country to start competing with china again, make this man president.

I hate donald trump..he's very flamboyant and greedy. Sure he works hard to make his $$$ but he is arrogent. He strikes me as the type..oh yuo work for a living a taxpayer get him away from me..kinda like in the movie Scrroged with bill murray. IN the movie, the woman he likes. the ghosts of xmas past come to visit him, and the last one i think it is? shows her all rich and disgustingly dressed up..looking at some poor homeless kid who comes to the window..she says look at that disgusting thing get it out of here... thats how donald trump strikes me.
His building is my city, you can see it downtown. its in the way of everything in my opinion, and offensive too look at. Its becuase of people like him, who have technically, pushed the homeless and poor out, forced em to move. Yeah the area needed work, but forcing people out by letting a neighborhood go to hell, buying it at cheaper costs, fixing it and selling it for 3 times what it was worth i mena cmon!
the swiss bank is near it. Around 1999, a new freind of mine, lived down that area. the thing is..across the street, is a dead end street. its boardering the south end, as we call it..poor homeless welfare people , right under the railroad bridge..thats where you dont want to be at night, especially in summer. HIs father, was the sub contractor for the buildings. HE'd tell me, he'd go in to paint...many of them had leather sofas, big, huge steros entertainment ssytems..you cant afford that on welfare. thier kids* were selling drugs. women having babys to get money*
Now, the point im making is...one day, the swiss bank sent a pipsqueek nerdy guy over, to take an assesment of everyone living thier. his eyes dropped, when he foudn out most were making less than $30,000 a year, before taxes* my friends father said to him..where the hell do you think you are? what are you some knida rich spoon fed snob? this is reality. Swiss bank wanted the are, to tear down the welfare homes, and build a park...for their own people, not the public. Mysterisouly 3 fires broke out after another guy tried offering money to his father and others to move. like $700 which is bribery* Obviously, i like to belive the firews broke out from swiss bank hiring someone to do it..arson.
These are the kinda businesses that are asociated wtih Donald trump. one day it could be YOUr neighborhood too
aint that something..big business can have you assasinated it seems are burn and force you outta your own home so they can take it over..if you or me do it..its Levenworth

Donal trump wont get a vote from me

I think he could bring a LOT to the debates.

He has a lot of really good points and concerns.

His love life will hurt him. Not sure which trophy would fill the spot as first lady. lol

Republicans, if they have sense, will run Ron Paul.

He's a businessman, and his wife is effin hot! That i would admitt. to me, in a funny snes, thier kinda hitler and eva braun
a beutiful woman voluptuous in every way partnered with this powerful greedy man..an elite pair if you will.
He's a buisness man. Once again, buisness having an influence in congress, NOT a politician. what ever happened to ral up front people, like both roosevlts, men with an iron fist, yet sensitive to the publics needs and laws of justice? If trump ever got preisdency...the rich will get richer, the poor will get poor

Your little video box that shows all the symbols of the nations who worship "Horus", who is Lucifer, is GREAT! How do you do that?

I can't stand the guy, but I'd rather see him in office than any of these other politicians we're going to have to choose from. Think what you want of him, he'd be a better candidate than any of these other jerks we have to put up with constantly.

Barry is a threat to the future of this country and he needs to be stopped and repealed. The republican party has become a joke as far as them being any different than the liberals. Mitt Romney and the rest of the repub challengers are all part of the problem. The whole system stinks. Did we forget already the billions in spending Harry Reid proposed in december? Only the screams of the right shamed the repubs into voting it down. Somebody has to stop Barry, and I believe Trump could win. I don't see any other candidate that can beat the guy. He's the best liar I've ever seen.

Sure, anybody can make a good point in an article, that doesn't mean they are at all capable of running an entire country that's on the brink of destruction. Hell, Sarah Palin made a few good points too, but I'd be scared #less if she had the nuclear codes.

I had a feeling this would be a mix of replies. Granted I can't say as I would be a fan, I would most certainly give Ron Paul the first slot of thought, and this is from someone that has yet to vote. I refuse to vote for lesser evils, but that is another thread all together.

So yes, he has experience, and yes he has bankrupt himself on a few occasions. Would he trun things around to save his own business? More then likely. Would that help any of us? Well, that might depend. If it means bringing jobs back to this country then yes, I'd say so.

Now would I want a man that might have a clue with a huge ego, or a man that would probably be more hellbent on cleaning out the trash? ie. Jessie Ventura? hmmm, I think the trash needs to go, so that should be pretty obvious how I feel there.

Lol it is almost like, would you want a guy that plays Monopoly well or so so, or a awesome detective?

I am one of those middle road folks that still hasnt found a party that makes me happy. They are all whacks to me. None seem to get the fact of fair and square, let man, woman, live and be himself, herself, with all rights at the top of the list.

What di I really know about Ron Paul? Not that much really. I do know this is someone that has certainly been trying to step up the hard way. He actually has a bit of the best of both sides, meaning or referring to Trump and Ventura. This is of course my humble opinion.

I'm not sure Ron Paul is electable. With Trump you get the bully pulpit, all the time. I listened to him on Michael Savage today, and he unlike Obama, talked about China being our adversary, not someone you have a state dinner for. Trump believes in American excellence, and sounds far more patriotic than Barry does. It would take a Miracle for Ron Paul to get his message out in todays media circus. It won't be hard for Trump. Dump the chump, and vote for Trump!
