That my friend, may very well be the effects of DU(Depleted Uranium.) I have researched this substance, and that is one of the deformities. Its not a beast. It can't help its condition.

There has been atleast 2 threads about this, hasn't there? One had a video of a baby with it...

Yep. looks like depleted uranium effects.

google "depleted uranium effects" and you'll find a ton of photos, some worse than that.

i think there may be a few threads on ATS about it, too, but it's late, and i'm too tired to look.

Try a search on "Harlequin Fetus" or "Harlequin Ichthyosis."

It's generally not a nice thing to refer to a child with a fatal condition as an "ugly little beast."

-B.

P.S. It has nothing to do with DU.

yes. it could also be the effects of Harlequin birth defects. But it looks more like a DU aftermath mor than harlequin.

Untrue.
That child has all the hallmarks of Harlequin Ichthyosis.
Cracked, horny skin plates, everted eyelids with damaged eyes, everted lips ... those are all associated with HI.
Here, I'll do the hard work:

No, it's not a "depleted uranium" effect. It is, however, Harlequin Ichthyosis in a human child. The poor thing doesn't live very long; it basically hemorrhages to death shortly after birth.

Very traumatic on the family.

It is a known genetic condition and has no association with radiation. The effects of radiation on fetuses are much different.

Is the child alive? You cant refer to him as an ugly little beast! What the hell is wrong with you? I'ts a mutation. Have you not seen this ever before?

looked like a Harlequin Ichthyosis child/fetus to me. I hope the poor child died at birth.

I found the source of your photo: asylumeclectica.com...

It is indeed Harlequin Ichthyosis. Typically, the children die within hours of birth. I recommend that EVERYONE who responds to this thread check out this desease.

BTW, there's a foundation striving to find a cure for this desease.

Does it hurt? Physical pain? I hope not, because if it does hurt it must be so painfull!

I have never heard of it before- but i did some reasearch.

In a way it is better that the child does not survive- the amount of discomfort and pain would be horrible.
