Senior Egyptian Leaders Currently Meeting At Pentagon

blacklistednews.com

...Pentagon press secretary Geoff Morrell told journalists Wednesday that senior Egyptian military leaders are currently in town for annual bilateral meetings with their Pentagon counterparts.

“We actually this week are hosting senior Egyptian military leaders at the Pentagon for our annual bilateral defense talks, referred to at the Military Cooperation Committee, which is chaired jointly by Assistant Secretary of Defense Sandy Vershbow and Lieutenant General Sami Anan...

Just to balance out reports that the US secretly backed Egyptian protest leaders...

Who knows what they're talking about? Maybe they're working together - most likely they are. Both nations are run by the same conglomerate of global corporations, and have the same fears of anarchy, the same commitments to order and the corporate NWO.

If the US is playing both sides, it's probably only bet hedging.

What do you think?

I think the Egyptian people let us use them for several decades out of fear. We took them over with Israel's help after the 6 day War.

Why aren't they fearing right now and taking to the streets protesting?

There's the question everyone should be asking. They are not fearing DEATH. They know they could be killed for protesting. So why aren't they fearing DEATH?

Roll in the US Marine Corps Riot Beam weapons and start giving them a reason to stop protesting. That's what you will see happen soon. They're likely on C-17's headed there now. Well CNN won't show footage of people erupting in flames in the streets from those military grade riot weapons....They will be taught to fear DEATH.

Watch. We aren't giving up control of Egypt. We'll zap them with microwave riot weapons.

I am suprised that more people were not aware of the U.S. role in Egypts Military Forces.

The officer corps of Egypt's powerful military has been educated at defense colleges in the United States for 30 years. The Egyptian armed forces have about 1,000 American M1A1 Abrams tanks, which the United States allows to be built on Egyptian soil. Egypt permits the American military to stage major operations from its bases and has always guaranteed the Americans passage through the Suez Canal.

The relationship between the Egyptian and American militaries is, in fact, so close that it was no surprise Friday to find two dozen senior Egyptian military officials at the Pentagon, halfway through an annual week of meetings, lunches and dinners with their American counterparts.

The timing, to find that Egypts top brass is here in the U.S. during this uprising is interesting
to say the least.

I would be surprised if the US was not hedging their bets. They had the old leader well trained and a shame to lose him, but if a new leader comes in then they want to keep playing the game and at least look like they are still in control to the rest of the world. It does make it hard for the new leader as there is some opposition with the whole east / west thing. The people will not be happy to have another US puppet in the top seat, it really comes down to what the military wants for this to be sorted out. Strong diplomatic skills are going to be needed to help cool the fires going on.

The Corporate Shadow Government almost always employs Hegelian tactics where you introduce both the problem and the solution, the thesis and the anti-thesis with the objective of using the synergy created from the conflict between the two sides to arrive at a predetermined compromise that is exactly what the Shadow Government wanted in the first place.

This entails playing both sides of the fence, compromising both sides of the fence, and getting each side through the conflict to reach a compromise in the dispute that is precisely what your objective is without ever stating it or publicly working towards it.

Mubarak is old, and while he has served the Powers that Be faithfully for 30 years, they need someone new to serve the next 30 years, so tricking the people into getting rid of the old dictator, so they don't actually think they are installing a new dictator is sadly what in all reality is going on.
