I read it very carefully...it clearly says that the MERCHANDISE is outside of US customs territory...but the LAND is under the US jurisdiction.

It's not doublespeak...it is actually very plain and straight forward to anyone who isn't trying to twist the words around to push their own agenda.

Sorry...but your fear mongering isn't going to work on me. And hopefully others will see thought it as well.

To everyone else we have to act now folks this is the real deal. This isn't China selling some crappy trinkets at Walmart this is China setting up shop on American soil free to do what ever they want in thier own territory. Like manufacture weapons perhaps since they are preparing for war in all directions

You seem to be the one sacrificing logic for emotion here.

This thread is pure fearmongering with no reason. The US needs to pay their debts, and this seems to be one of the ways it has to do so. You refuse to listen to reason, that means you have an agenda.

I will not further regurgitate what other members have allready stated and leave it at that.

I am sorry but where did I personally attack someone? I attack Ideas and words not the person. This is not fearmongering this is fact I have posted the several of the facts with links and have been listening to it unfold on my local news.

I love it when someone says I am not using logic but fails to point out any specific point that is illogical. I am sorry your in denial but I don't have time for mindless denial or childish games people play to reinforce their fantasy that everything is fine don't worry be happy. America has no more time for it it is time to lead follow or get the hell out of the way as the saying goes. it is time for Americas real patriots to stand up. Unfortunately folks such as you may be the majority in America and the death of her if so.

So what is with all the "don't worry be happy" crowd? Are you telling me your ok with China building multiple bases in all 50 states? And that means more then one in each state. 3 are planned for Idaho. They will have thier own labor force and no American oversight or regulation etc. the only thing they will have is Customs is supposed to check what comes out onto American soil for sale and for duties. this is the same China that has sent us tainted products and baby food etc.

They could be making weapons and even chemical and biological weapons and we'd never know till they unleashed them on us. How is this scaremongering? This is just common sense, you don't let your rival who tells you he is preparing for war into your house and give him land and resources. Even if that is not thier intention why would we give them the opportunity? Especially when they openly say they are preparing for war in every direction? Which link you conveniently ignore.

And have you read what they are giving us in return? We get to have FTZ's over there but we have to use local labor and give them the zones and everything we built after a certain period of time.

I have also explained why we don't owe China for the so called debt go back and read the thread. When oh when are people going to wake up and realize we have been systematically sold out and they get more blatant about it every day? When they give away all our land and then tell you; well we still owe China and the only thing we have left is your labor so we have to give you to China too now as slave labor. Will you then say oh well relax we have to pay our debts? It sure seems like it from some here.

Thanks for the post. What do you think about the enviromental laws. Will these FTZs breach enviromental laws? The ability to breach US enviromental laws whilst on USA territory would be a sure indicator of the status of these regions.

This is also a way to restore the "Made in USA" on the crap we buy.
Just watch even though items will be made on Chinese soil within the USA, the tags will NOT say "Made in China".

I'll bet all of my apple shares that Foxconn will be one of the first in the door.

That would make it pretty damn hard to produce weapons, and why would they. And last I heard China wasn't the US's enemy, maybe yours, but not the current administration's...

Like I also said, debt have to be paid. Maybe consumer culture and turbo capitalism is to blame rather than the chinese?

Also stated by another member is that it is nothing new with FTZ sites, dating back to 1934 if my memory is correct.

To begin with, this is not singling out asians, its just noting changes, in population, and concerns about NWO, martial law, etc. But here I've noticed a swelling of Chinese population, more than normal. What I think is happening, is a preparation is being made for the possibility of martial law and an outright takover of north america, or simply for them to maintain the extra forces. What do you bet these towns will be filled with police or military forces type of deal.

I don't think its about the money, the US owes less to China than to Japan for example, and China didn't move into Iceland during its troubles, or the EU countries near bankruptcy. They may talk that way to scare people, but its not about the debt.

There's no such thing as national debt. We, the people, owe nothing. The Federal Reserve & the IRS are not Constitutional. The Federal Income tax is not Constitutional. Now, seeing as how we're continuing to be raped, what am I or any of you going to do about it? NOTHING. If we're not united as a people, you can whine all you want to. You can protest all you want. The Republicans set up a garment factory on the island of Saipan and brought thousands of Chinese in to make products. Since the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas was under America's control everything they made was able to have "Made in America" on it.

Even tho it was all made by chinese who were not really paid. The garment factory was shut down and alllllll those Chinese laborers were left on Saipan.

They are still there. They are now the majority on that island.

Looks like Corporations plan on doing the same thing in the States. The Companies make millions/billions and walk away and leave their mess after the rich dudes have their pockets full.

You'd do the scam too if you were in power. Who would stop you? Citizens of America? ha ha ha ha ha!!! That's funny.

As an objective observer (outside the US) all I've read here is based upon commonly misunderstood concepts of the Chinese people, government and their methods.
I see someone afraid for the wrong reasons, someone I believe to be mistaken in their education about the Chinese and Communism (the historical enemy of the States...but in fact it never really was - 'yay' propaganda).

OP, you've been believing far too much propaganda with regards to your idea of China and it's people.
I urge you to seek revised and, more importantly, impartial information on the cultures that America are known to misrepresent when it comes to educating their citizens about.

The threat's more from your own politicians than any outside 'force' I'm afraid.

I do however, recognise your dedication to a rightful cause and the fact you must care for others, to wish to alert them to any perceived injustices.

Whats going on in Egypt is a global power play! The industrialized nations are going to war to fight over the control of the resources in that area of the world, mainly crude oil and natural gas, the prices of which are going up rapidly, in case you haven't noticed. The economic system is falling apart due to the increasing costs of natural resources that are becoming scarcer and scarcer!
