Summit of the Americas
Mar Del Plata, Argentina 2005

President Kirchner of Argentina met with President Bush and was in no hurry to embrace his American counter part. President Bush acknowleged the awkwardness in a Press conference that rocked the Southern Nation, but somehow seems to go unnoticed within our own media. I came across this when I saw the Documentary "South of the Border" Directed by well respected Oliver Stone who conducts the interview himself. I recommend you all see this and share with me your thoughts on it. This was just one of the interviews that I felt was pivotal regarding the mind behind the 9/11 Attacks!

Oliver Stone - "Many people say you played a breathrough and very heroic role in challenging the IMF(International Monetary Fund) for the first time; successfully. Would you say one of the personal highlights of your life was the Mar Del Plata conference with Bush?"

Argentina President Kirchner - "I would say yes. That day, Latin America was able to defeat the plans of the world's leading power represented by President Bush and his free trade policies. And that we were able to do it collectively. I will never forget that day. So much so that I kept the chair from that meeting, and it's in my house. That day, we had the courage to not just speak on the radio when the man is not around, or when the empire's representative isn't there. We acted collectively and in coordination. That was one of the most important steps ever taken in the region."

Oliver Stone - "When you say no to a Banker what is it like?"

Argentina President Kirchner - "Well, you're either a subversive, on the left, a thief, or shameless."

Oliver Stone - "Was there ever a moment like in a movie where one of the Chief Bankers leaned across and looked into Mr. Kirchner's eyes and says, do you realize the implications of what you're saying?"

Argentina President Kirchner - "Always. When you see a politician that is very friendly...that is very friendly with (the economic) sectors, something's fishy. Those sectors think only about their benefit and not the benefit of society. Now in this period, which President Cristina Kirchner is leading, is a different and more difficult time. I had to pull this country out of hell. The president has to grow the economy, make sure the distribution of income is fair. The sectors that control the economy, the sectors that want profit always and never give back, the sectors that don't want to cooperate, are the sectors that react. They want to keep doing things the old way where wealth is concentrated in the hands of the few."

President Bush went to the IV Summit to talk about his free trade policies that he said would help ease poverty and create jobs in the region.

Oliver Stone - "Were there ever any eye to eye moments with President Bush that day, that night?"

Argentina President Kirchner - "I say it's not necessary to kneel before power, nor do you need to be rude to say the things you have to say to those who oppose our actions. We had a discussion in Monterrey, I said that a solution for the problems right now, I told Bush, is a Marshall Plan. And he got angry. He said the Marshall Plan is a crazy idea of the Democrats. He said the best way to revitalize the economy is war. And that the United States has grown stronger with war."

Oliver Stone - " War...He said that?"

Argentina President Kirchner - "He said that. Those were his exact words."

Oliver Stone - "Was he suggesting that South America go to war?"

Argentina President Kirchner - "Well, he was talking about the United States. The Democrats had been wrong. All of the economic growth of the United States has been encouraged by the various wars. He said it very clearly. President Bush is...Well, he's only got six days left, right?"

Oliver Stone - "Yes"

Someone in the background of the interview - "Thank God."

During that time the labeled Socialist Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez made President Bush's job more complicated when he took an unusual step by leaving the IV Summit early to rally demonstrators in a nearby soccor stadium. He said he wanted to bury the Free Trade Agreement...."To hell with the Free Trade Agreement."

Its funny because I still remember to this day seeing Hugo Chavez on TV rallying his people against what I felt at the time was the U.S. and thinking he must really hate the US because that is afterall how the media portrayed it. He didn't hate the U.S. He hated President Bush and his toxic agendas...can you blame him?

I saw this movie on Netflix play on demand and I think everyone should see it. This is probably the only time in History you will hear such a revealing first hand account of a conversation that took place between Former President Bush and another influential President. I do not think that this thread can do that interview justice. It was a pivotal moment for me personally that solidified my beliefs regarding 9/11 and what truly happened that horrible day.

It's very long, but well worth the watch, really fills in all the missing links so to speak. If you want another one that will blow your mind about the eugenics plans it's called 'Maafa 21'.

Yeah to tell you the truth I didn't even watch the whole thing, maybe half and the names just kept coming and I got the point. Then researched on my own. I didn't realize that the government was so infiltrated by a foreign entity in so many areas. Kinda freaked me out. Actually I'm still freaked out. I mean look at my avitar, thats me. Before missing links I was a white underwear model.

Here is the documentary that the OP is referencing. As the OP stated, it is called South of the Boarder" and it was done by Oliver Stone. Below is the description, which I took directly from the website.

There’s a revolution underway in South America, but most of the world doesn’t know it. Oliver Stone sets out on a road trip across five countries to explore the social and political movements as well as the mainstream media’s misperception of South America while interviewing seven of its elected presidents. In casual conversations with Presidents Hugo Chávez (Venezuela), Evo Morales (Bolivia), Lula da Silva (Brazil), Cristina Kirchner (Argentina), as well as her husband and ex-President Nėstor Kirchner, Fernando Lugo (Paraguay), Rafael Correa (Ecuador), and Raúl Castro (Cuba), Stone gains unprecedented access and sheds new light upon the exciting transformations in the region.
