Can anyone tell me why everyone's membership date and new post dates are all coming up 7/1/2004? Hope im not repeating a former topic but I couldnt find anything that matched. Thanks

I dont know but everyones posts including yours all come up with the posting date of 7/1/2004 and everyones membership date shows 7/1. Its a conspiracy I tell you, the voices say so!

Aha, got it.

Sounds like when you last edited your profile, in the field where you are meant to enter the date format, you put the actual date.

You need to put something like mm/dd/yyyy, dd/mm/yy, etc Where dd is the day, mm is the month, yy is the last 2 letters of the year and yyyy is the last 4. I use dd-mm-yyyy so dates show as 13-7-2004 and so forth.

If you just put the date in there you are always stuck with that date.


(Also when you go into your membercenter make sure to set your timezone offset to the right thing before saving.)

actually any time you go to profile you need to reset your timezone, for some reason it defaults back to GMT.

this sucks if you change avatars, signatures etc as you'll forget to change the timezone back to the setting you want/need it at.
