Latest ``update``

Ruling Appealed In Recording Police Case

There are new developments in our investigation of a local man facing prison time for publicly recording law enforcement.

Michael Allison's case is being appealed to the Illinois Supreme Court.

The state has appealed a Crawford County Judge's decision that ruled the Illinois Eavesdropping Law is unconstitutional.

So those bastards at the state still want to convict this guy for 75 years for recording cops.

Can't find the case on the Illinois Supreme Court website or when a hearing is scheduled.

Thanks for the update to this. While anyone can appreciate laws to protect personal privacy, clearly the application in this case was absurd and petty from the get go.
