Are the economic summits included here? I don't seem to find those mentioned.

I suspect that there may be bad elements in the crowds that are inciting the rioting. In some cases, it seems that the protest was originally intended to be peaceful.

Amazing research effort?

The OP just went on wikipedia....

However kudos for the youtube videos.

I don't know....it's not like any of these are all interconnected really. They're all generally about different issues and I certainly wouldn't say there is an "uprising."

Personally i feel there is an uprising. If you take a lot at the increase in arrests, violence, deaths and bloodshed along with stronger police and military presence during the more recent riots around the world one could easily surmise that the heat or intensity is rising. To me this is indicative of the despair within humanity, one that will continue to grow and intensify. But then again each to their own

Many of these riots are sports related, but many more are the increasing job riots and food riots. The increase in worldwide riots and the death toll from 2000 to 2010 is startling.

From 1990 - 2000 there were 47 riots reported worldwide. 301 deaths in this ten year time span.

What do you think next year is going to look like?
