What software?
What operating system (likely Windows, what version)?
Any error messages?
Does the cd-rom light come on when you click install or double-click setup.exe?

Press Ctrl Alt Delete....
Can you see 'setup.exe' running in the box more than once?
If so, shut them down and try to install again.

Everytime I go and run the program it keeps saying

"Go to control panels to install and configure system components"

I just changed the resolution and color palette

but it says font size must be SMALL, I can't because mine only says "normal, large and xtra large"

I clicked ok and it still says to go into my control pans and change configs...

I guess you might be sol, you got xp and it's 95/98 and could maybe be an old dos based proggie, xp no likey!

to check your free space just go to my computer and highlight your drive usually C: just click it once and to the left it should say x amount used, x amount free.

Your computer is probably more than enough powerful to run that program, it's just that it's an old outdated crappy proggie...

hehe changing your font and resolution ain't going to fix anything, so imo I'd change it back to whatever you had it before.

I was hoping that wouldnt be a problem... I thought maybe xp could configure itself to nt......
well there's 50 bucks down the drain...

What program is it anyways? 50 bucks for an old program? Return it if possible, just tell them you didn't realise it was an outdated pos.

PS: Windows NT is usually used for running a server, it's not something the normal window user would like, just a warning.

If you have another computer, you could always install win98 se on it or something like that, but I wouldn't do it to my main computer, I'm not really dos exprienced, but maybe you could get into dos and install the program? But it probably won't work a lot of the older video games I have from the years gone by, simply refuse to work on anything higher than windows 98se

if your talking about www.supernova.org they want membership sign up fees.

you can't register and use it for free...

if you have any other sites that don't require a credit card i'd be happy to sign up.
