Okay - this cracks me UP! I found this link while searching the 'Net for a suitable avatar pic for my username *Cattlespy*:

www.fmp.com...

"What is the American Spy Cow and the MFAOP?

The American spy cow is the newest addition to a series of radio controlled robotic farm animals which were developed by Armorobotech Weapons, Inc. for the US Army's Military Farm Animal Operations Program or MFAOP to innocently walk into enemy territory where they would be mistaken for real harmless farm animals. The program was first used during the gulf war when explosive chickens were used to attack people and buildings in enemy cities. After the war MFAOP was used by the FBI to track down and chase dangerous criminals. In 1994 a mechanical race horse chased a convicted murderer from the scene of a fatal hostage situation for an hour and a half before he finally collapsed from exhaustion. The Animals were also used for rescue purposes. In 1993 a team of 5 Mechanical Ducks rescued a five year old from the raging waters during the Great Mississippi River Flood. After the Oklahoma City bombing skinny tom cats were used to search through the rubble for survivors. Since the Gulf war 42 different species of farm animals have been developed for various uses. "

Ingenious!

Who knew?

Check this out, www.abovetopsecret.com...

If you still think it's all BS, try to keep in mind the CIA and Military work for the same people. Well most of the time.

I was just pointing out the manufacture of these products was fiction. The military through DARPA is always working on new robotic projects.

So what happens if aliens try and perform a cattle mutilation on one?

Personally I like the exploding chickens better, gives new meaning to, pieces parts.

In case anyone has any doubts about this as a big joke read under the fighting bull. It states that the thing is powered by a diesel engine. Can you imagine a bull with diesel smoke pour out its rectum while it runs around chasing matadors all over Spain!!!

I think its a great idea I also like the exploding chicken one if they can make a flying chicken now that would be something but I don't think its a waste of money.

O.Kaaayyyyyyyyy to put this into perspective it took honda 14 years and millions in funding to create a two legged robot that coul walk a short preprogrammed path. 4 legs is more complex than two and making the motion look natural not to mention smulating muscle and skin movement would be enormous. Added to the fact that it would literaly freak out the other cows and that the only other informatin about this project or company is from chatrooms commenting on the source site, all says to me JOKE SITE.

Now isn't denying ignorance all about not taking things at face value and deeper investigation?

And isn't denying ignorance not judging the book by its cover do you know what secret programs or advanced tech DARPA has you can never be sure and the point of this isn't to send the robot cow with other cows but to just let it wander around looking at stuff.

Westpoint accepting the possibility of something is different from accepting its existance. The fact is the site itself is amatuerish, with no links. The company amorobotech does not as far as I can tell exist and I have seen no evidence of advanced enough robotics to do the job. While I certainly believe its possible there is NO supporting evidence whatsoever. Unless and untill such evidence is brought to light believing that this does in fact exist is both premature and in my honest opinion ignorant.

I could put together a site claiming G.M. has created a time machine whch will go on sale next year it doesn't make it true.

Ok so maybe currently the Dept. of Defense doesn't use them but they might be testing or developing them. But the cover is blown the next time a coyote or something tries to mutilate one. Hey it is a cool concept. Just think a chiken that can lay eggs packed with C-4.
