you are absolutely not wrong. War is wrong. Only smart people know that there are better ways to "fight wars" than to just sent each other's armies to their deaths. Its called compromise.

Diplomacy is better than war any day. That is why they say the pen is mightier than the sword.

If you have no other choice then asymmetric warfare is the only way to go. Obviously.

Spies and / or assassins are the only choice if you have to confront belligerent peoples if all else fails. This is how the world works.

It is literally pointless to sent thousands of troops to their deaths to accomplish something 1 assassin or 1 spy can do. This has been done for as long as humans have been breathing.

You are correct.

The Military Complex should not be supported. It is an Unneccessary Evil.
