Hm, this development is indeed worrying. And for the first time, for me, it is close to a place where I will be, since I am planning to travel to the Brasilian coast very soon. So does anyone have any theories about the danger level for humans, when bathing in such waters?

watch out for great white sharks, and dont eat the sea food blue plate specials for a while.

Had not heard of the fish in Monagua, did however, read about the fish in or near Bogata Columbia, seems that there was a bright light and humming noise the night before, (some lady actually captured pictures of what appears to be a bright light in the sky shooting down a beam of light). Next day they found thousands of dead fish with what appears to be burn marks. This happened on or about the 25th of January.
