Ah, fair enough. But America was founded on the Bible, and not just the Bible, but the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Just a few taught provoking examples, with thousands more available:

George Washington:
“It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible.”,
"What students would learn in American schools above all is the religion of Jesus Christ."
"It is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor."

Not to be forced to worshiped God as you said, for that would be a cult. But by peoples own free will they should worship God.

Also:
"We recognize no sovereign but God, and no King but Jesus."
"I have examined all religions, and the result is that the Bible is the best book in the world."
- John Adams and John Hancock

And just for the "heck of it",
Isaac Newton 1642-1727:
“We account the scriptures of God to be the most sublime philosophy. I find more sure marks of authenticity in the Bible than in any profane history whatsoever.”

As for the specific scientists, I don't really follow science, since it changes daily and all. Who has time for that?!?!

As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquility, of Mussulmen; and, as the said States never entered into any war, or act of hostility against any Mahometan nation, it is declared by the parties, that no pretext arising from religious opinions, shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries.

If you want we can play quote mining all day, but the fact is the founding fathers were their own men, who had their own views which at time from our special perspective in the present will seem to be contradicting.

There is a history of separation of church and state,as the early European settlers here were fleeing a State sponsored government in England.

In any case, science doesn't change daily.
To start with, science itself is a process, and it's changed very little since it was initially conceptualized.

While there are advancements, and much fine tuning, big changes don't happen very often.
For example, Einstein's Theory of Relativity was a fine tuning of Newton's earlier work.

Many new discoveries, which happen fairly often, are done using the discoveries that came before.

the romans did not build the first structures at baalbek. the three large stones (one of which is pictured) were at the site long before romans took over the area.
the romans were not even the first to build their own temples at this site.
and as far as i know the romans never moved any stones that are even comparable to the 3 large stones at baalbek.
if i remember right the stones were not carved at the site but were carved in that ralative area (i think it was within a few miles or kilometers).
sorry i read all this long ago in one of those ancient book thing so cant give backing for my statements.
by the way op the whole gravity issue is one that is interesting; cant say it holds up but it has been speculated many times as it would answer many questions.

Look at that beauty... no human on earth or machines can lift and carve this stone

FAIL!!!

We can lift weights much more than the "Hadjar el Hibla‎" that is shown in the picture.
Don't Under estimate the Power of us Humans.
So, which century are you living in?
Haven't you seen heavy equipment moving?
Dont you have any self respect for being a human?
Can you lift weights? - Yes you could.
Can you think? -Yes you could.
Can you design equipments that reduces human efforts? - yes. you could. Duh! A Machine is an equipment that reduces Human Effort!!!!!
Why don't you wonder about how the columns and arches of ancient Greek and roman buildings were lifted? - you don't bother..right? because records and drawings are available showing how they were done..right? you want to apply the mystical crapo-science to stuff that hasn't been answered ..right??

Try for example reading
Five heaviest Buildings moved

Or try looking up Specialist Heavy Equipment Moving Companies like Mammoet
