Well, its not anything big but still kinda interesting.. I do wonder how they chose speakers and panel subjects.

A conference with all those people paying $5K per head can get any speaker they want. They told some MBA hack to find the most legit people they could. The MBA goes to the Internet and searches for each subject. No wackos, just boring, "tell it the way every one else tells it", legits, empty suits.

The points regarding a monetary motive seems alittle short sighted to me. The fact is they WERE there, talking to some very rich and powerful people at an event hosted by some of the biggest sponsors on the planet.
How and why? They managed to get in just to beg for funding? For publicity? For the fat cat's amusement?
It just doesn't seem to be the sort of event that allows scientists and authors access merely to start handing a hat round for change.
Don't get me wrong, I don't really care why they were there but the fact they were talking about it at all.
That's the Breaking News aspect of this thread for me.
The more people start to talk about this subject openly, the less it will be ridiculed, thus ending a far more plausible, established and nefarious plot by some agencies of the worlds governments.

This "news" is so bloody laughably stupid.

Watch this, the allagory of Plato's Cave.

People who believe that aliens are the ones flying aerial discs are the equivalent to prisoners chained within a cave, watching shadows without the ability to really realize what is really going on.

Aliens are shadows. They are not what they appear to be, just like everything else in life that appeals to the lowest common denominator of society.

Seriously, alien believers are puppets, and governments are pulling the strings. If people are conditioned to be stupid, then they will be compliant.

So the Goverment built UFO's with fake aliens in them to make the punlic beleive that aliens exist and that the goverment is covering them up, but really they made them?

Now that is a stupid theorey

The government built fake aliens? Who claims this?

The US government certainly started the propaganda campaign that flying saucers were alien in origin after the Roswell incident in order to confuse the general population from the reality.

When it comes to Greys, where is the hard evidence? The people who see them, see them in some "dreamlike" trance. Beings with large, black empty eyes viewed only in a trance... Sounds like a typical psychadelic reaction that temporarily ascends the mind to an esoteric level. Such beings have been reported on this level through testing (specifically through '___' testing).

It is a forced hallucination, or at least this is my best guest at describing Greys. I've definitely gained some experience in mind-altering states, and I know that when something is chemically manipulating your mind, you will interpret things as they are not.

So it's not a shocker that abductees would claim that Greys, strange beings with big heads and deep black eyes, told them that they just spent the hour travelling through space. In reality, it's probably some shady government personnel (Russian or US in origin, at least) collecting data on people while implanting tracking/monitoring devices, relaying fantastic (and obviously misleading) stories to people who have been forced into a state of mind that is beyond the means of conventional technology.

Black operations at their finest.

Right. The point being made is that our civilization is not civilized as we think. Don't let it fester and make you crazy(ier).

Someone may have already mentioned this, but on the GCF website, it states that Friedman says “Flying saucers are real!” to to start with.

BUT... further down he also says “Even if UFOs and aliens weren’t real, just thinking about it is a big thing, enlarging the scope of our thinking to include a larger part of the galactic neighborhood instead of the planet,”.

I don't think they were specifically discussing actual aliens and actual flying saucers, but rather using the idea of them existing as inspiration for future technologies.

Apologies if this has already been pointed out.

Whether this particular topic is genuine does not matter. What is interesting is that people like Nick Pope and Stanton Friedman are invited speakers. Business leaders are not there for a UFO lecture!!!! So the likes of Pope and Friedman must be there for genuine concern about business and extra terrestrial activity.

I do believe that this kind of forum is where the truth will out. Money is a very powerful motivator and cuts through considerable red tape when large sums in the hands of powerful people come into play.

Common sense dictates that the US military have had a presence in space (beyond the shuttles range) for over 40 years. Either that or the US military is watching from Earth as the Russians and Chinese buzz around the US satellites . . . . . not a chance!!!!!!!!!!!!! So given this time frame, the increasing commercialisation of space (virgin space trips) and the activities of russia, india and china we have clearly come to the end of the US military having complete freedom up there. It's now time to open up space to commerce which means including any non earth based customers
.

I suspect some large US miltary friendly industry will mysteriously expand is public commercial arm to include a space venture. That allows the US economy to benefit from US military space expertise.

Someone seems a bit jealous. I prefer Burn The Ships' style over yours anyway.

Everyone who has contributed here has brought something to the table; your thread was focused on something else entirely - that was your error in judgment. If you wanted it to be about this conference, you should have titled it differently and written your OP to reflect the (apparent) focus of the thread. The fact that you didn't link to this conference info until the sixth post in suggests that this info wasn't in the forefront of your mind when you composed the OP.

Quit whining about server space. Do any of us care about server space? Maybe the site owners. Going off how may flags and stars this thread has garnered I perceive that you're just looking for an excuse to bash. Jealousy is ugly and counterproductive.

Perhaps phrasing that thought a bit more politely would help people to try and understand your perspective?

I read your second post, which did make sense - but your attitude is extremely poor in the first post. You've effectively walked into a room full of people discussing what could prove to be an incredibly important event and said "Hey - you guys are all stupid, and gullible". How would that go down in real life?

I imagine that if this was real it has been greatly taken out of context and was an exercise in thinking creatively and differently.

Over-generalising doesn't help anyone. Many religious folk have anomalous experiences with ET/ black ops projects and just don't talk about them out of confusion or fear. The most skeptical voices come from sects of 'atheistic, darwinian fundamentalist, technocracy-seekers'. Of course, you have to learn to separate them from the various types of disinfo peddlers (miltary-industrial/ satanic occultist etc).

I'm a firm believer in UFOs and extraterrestrial intelligence, but also a firm believer in an omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent spiritual God, all-encompassing and self-sufficient; the creative force behind all realms of reality. I also believe in the subtly separate transcendent personality of Jesus Christ as supreme Lord of creation, with the third member of the trinity providing power and comfort to all who believe.

My confidence in my beliefs extends right through my ongoing 'weighing up' of everything we can see being covered up on Earth, and the religious/ mythological traditions of humanity. I see some alien life as being allied to the positive 'forces of light', and others being inclined to subvert the 'will of God', taking selfish, dark paths towards ruinous negativity and destruction.

Much in the same way as we have saints and devils right here on Earth.

A lesson in gamestorming, pure and simple ! Although the more you research the subject of gamestorming, the more sinister it appears, and some of the people connected to it are familiar names too.

The first step to any form of disclosure is to first release the pre rain...

like any good storm you first get those first few spits of rain and then a multitude of rain pours down on the people and the earth...

That's what's happening here... we are starting to see the first few droplets coming down...

Soon and probably before you know it there will be a major storm that reigns its rains on the whole...

All in due course..

On topic:

This has been discussed on other threads, but I don't think I've seen that picture before. That is very compelling, to say the least.

S&F OP, great find.

I agree, I had to really look for the word kill. But it is odd that its in red...

All the "officials" I see are acting like junior high schoolers.
The last President of the USA used the non-word "nuculear."
Watch The Daily Show, which specializes in exposing officials doing dumb things.

Maybe the misspellings are on purpose.
Perhaps the time is ripe for someone, or something to take over.

I know you're disappointed and feeling a little "empty."

Maybe your healthy skepticism has been covertly manipulated by those grooming you for a
space invasion.....

No. It has to do with writing in crayolas, and having misspelled words.
Don't f'ing tell me what you think I'm being groomed for. I know what I believe, as do the other believers here on ATS...we don't need your condescending thoughts.

Thank You AmongUs. Nicely said. This same # goes on at GLP. People trying to call people names, gets people mad, then they drop the topic or go off it. It's a nice tactic, but people need to understand what they are up against here. NSA, CIA, FBI, all of 'em.

This is what i'm talking about. We've been up there a long time. I don't have personal proof, but I've sure heard a lot of convincing information. Gary McKinnon was one that found some gold.....
