Who didn't watch "The State of the Union"?

I didn't. Should I have? Did Obama say anything that didn't seem like oral diarrhea?
I will NOT lose any sleep over missing it, will you?

I didn't watch it for 2 reasons

1) I don't have TV

2) Politicians lie and don't care to listen anymore.

I hated to miss it but I had something urgent to attend to. I've been needing to change the air in my tires for weeks now.

Oh well, I bet I will get all the details, ad nauseum, over the next month anyway.

ETA It was just the same BS again anyway. More of the same old same old.

I didn't watch because when as long as a politician is drawing breath and their lips are moving, they are telling lies.

No way I can listen to more of Obama.

Someone needs to pack him full of laxatives and give him a five-gallon enema.

I did not. I am sure it would have just made me angry. Besides been on here for hours as usual enjoying reading threads. I am sure the contents of the speech will be debated at length in several threads here shortly.

I missed it on purpose- had to bbq me some chicken. And, I tend to get better information out here than what comes out of the horse's a..., um, I mean mouth.

I didn't watch it. Of course, I wouldn't watch a Bush SOTU or any other "party" politcian's SOTU either. All politico's are fake's, propped up by the same set of corporate vampires, and get more out of life from reading a good book, or playing a game with my kids.

I have actually sat through 1 SOTU...I believe it was in the early 80's. Not by choice, only because my parents had it on and it was the only TV in the house. It has the same effect on me today as it did then, it put me to sleep. They always seem to speak FOREVER, but never say anything.
