The Solar sail experiment which had failed to eject itself from its motherr satelite, has magically sprung itself free from its parent, and now has unfurled its sail and is rforming to parameters.

The promise of a clean near earth orbit space in future, is a relief to all who plan space ventures in future.
Our skys were fast becoming a satlite graveyard which was beginning to pose a hazard to flight beyond earths atmosphere.
Solar sail packets installed pre orbit would deply to bring useless dead satlites down safely after they die.

I just thought it was new enough to be news....perhaps not.??
The sail itelf rather looks like a simple kite dont you think? Ironic kind of...
Great though this will work, its merely a kite in orbit, hardly what romantic innovations of buck rogerish nature
we look forward to.....Good for them, though.....
The intent to bring down space junk is laudable...
