You say wars are not for fun and adventure, but you have to keep the poor recruits in mind, without the service they would never get to leave their city.

I suppose they should be lucky they have a Job these days.
If they die then that's one less tax payer, if they get wounded then the other tax payers have to pay them until they die of natural causes.

This is just a commercial. It's public info. It shows a scene like something a person of recruitment age would see in a movie. All this does is sell a product. Why read into it more than that?

The Air Force did buy some new transformers for MEDEVAC's, the ambulances that transform and their boxes raise up to airplanes to load patients.

Turned out to be a mega million dollar flop. They were handed to people to drive that shouldn't be driving heavy equipment (Air Force medical kids), had no airfield driving ability. Scarier yet letting those medical folks drive that behemoth outside the military base down the highway to some hospital....that's screaming for something bad to happen. Watch those kids try driving that through some 3rd world countries tight rodes with traffic.

Turned out to be too complicated..broke down alot. Air Force contracted out it's vehicle maintenance and the low paid oil changers had no expertise to diagnose or repair complicated hydraulic systems.

Medevac transforming flop. Can you imagine some 18 year old Air Force medical guru getting handed the keys to that behemoth and driving it out the airfield...throwing it in REVERSE then jumping out to check his tires for FOD?

Almost running over himself as he shouldn't have ever been handed the keys to the thing in the first place??

That Commercial made me laugh. As does the Air Force.
