No, I want to punish a people for their continued support (both implicit and overt) of terrorism. The people of Chechnya, by a large majority, have been shown to support these groups, even going to far as so take pot-shots at Russian aid workers in the region purely because they are Russian.

I know some people will play 'politically correct' and say, "Oh, but they aren't ALL like that! The Russian military should go door to door and ask each person if they are a terrorist or not, and ONLY punish those who say they are terrorists!". It doesn't work that way. Their rebel group, which is more akin to their government than the one they actually have, has declared war on the Russian people for decade. It's time they see just what war with the Russian military means: total and unconditional defeat.

Evidence of FSB involvement in the Russian apartment bombings

Three FSB agents were caught a day after they plantied a large bomb in the basement of an apartment complex in the town of Ryazan in September 22, during the series of bombings.That was last of the bombings. Russian Minister of Internal Affairs Rushailo and Vladimir Putin congratulated citizens with preventing the terrorism act (as they called it), but FSB Director Nikolai Patrushev declared that the incident was a training exercise later, when he had learned that the FSB agents from Moscow were caught by local FSB and police while trying to escape the city.

The Russian Deputy Prosecutor declared in 2002 that a comprehensive testing of the samples showed no traces of any explosives, and that sacks from Ryazan in fact contained only sugar. However Yuri Tkachenko, the police explosives expert who defused the Ryazan bomb, insisted that it was real. Tkachenko said that the explosives, including a timer, a power source, and a detonator were genuine military equipment and obviously prepared by a professional. He also said that the gas analyzer that tested the vapors coming from the sacks unmistakably indicated the presence of RDX. Tkachenko said that it was out of the question that the analyzer could have malfunctioned, as the gas analyzer was of world class quality, costing $20,000 and was maintained by a specialist who worked according to a strict schedule, checking the analyzer after each use and making frequent prophylactic checks. Tkachenko pointed out that meticulous care in the handling of the gas analyzer was a necessity because the lives of the bomb squad experts depended on the reliability of their equipment. The police officers who answered the original call and discovered the bomb also insisted that it was obvious from its appearance that the substance in the bomb was not sugar.

Arrest of independent investigator Trepashkin

The commission of Sergei Kovalev asked lawyer Mikhail Trepashkin to investigate the case. Trepashkin found that the basement of one of the bombed buildings was rented by FSB officer Vladimir Romanovich and that the latter was witnessed by several people. However Trepashkin was unable to bring the evidence to the court because he was arrested in October 2003, allegedly for "disclosing state secrets", just a few days shortly before he was to make his findings public. He was sentenced by a military closed court to four years imprisonment. Amnesty International issued a statement that "there are serious grounds to believe that Mikhail Trepashkin was arrested and convicted under falsified criminal charges which may be politically motivated, in order to prevent him continuing his investigative and legal work related to the 1999 apartment bombings in Moscow and other cities". Romanovich subsequently died in a hit and run accident in Cyprus...

There is absolutely no evidence that the FSB was involved in the bombings beyond paranoid conjecture. Of course the FSB arrested the investigator because he was going to make the FSB look bad - he was going to reveal that the government had been warned of the bombings and had done nothing. Luzhnov has said as much, implying that the warning wasn't a certainty, and wasn't worth worrying anyone over, an obvious mistake on his part.

You're maknig GIANT leaps in logic here. You're assuming that because the investigator was silenced, it MUST be because the government was behind the bombing. Don't you see how tenuous that is? There is no evidence for it.

You mean there's no evidence according to you. But then again, your posts so far clearly show a lack of impartiality, a rejection of facts and FSB history, and a disturbingly intense desire to murder innocent civilians. Just like 9/11.

I know this is a conspiracy theory website, but cripes people, can you not stop and take a minute to think of the victims and their families before you go and start blaming one group or another for what happened. There will be plenty of time for that later, and I'm sure the MSM (or at least the MSM outside of the US) will provide the targeted group shortly. But right now, 30+ people are dead, and 30+ families are missing a loved one.

I would love to see this "evidence" you claim to have posted. As of yet, you've only posted the results from ahick cop, which he later recanted, and that a later investigator was arrested...that's it.

If you can't provide evidence, STOP USING A NATIONAL TRAGEDY TO SATISFY YOUR PARANOID DELUSIONS.

Believe it or not, some of have family in the area, and are still trying to deal with the very real fact they could have lost someone today. Luckily, no one in my family was flying in or out of Domodedovo, but it took some time to find out that everyone was safe.

What evidence are you looking for? A sample of the military explosive RDX that was found at the Ryazan apartment building? Testimony from the arresting police officers and the explosives expert who defused the Ryazan bomb? Call me paranoid and any other name you want, but facts are facts, whether you accept them or not.

Ok first thing is first:

To all of those claiming this has anything to do with CIA/Iran/False-Flag - stop trying to plug your skewed opinions and beliefs that everything that happens in the world is somehow related to the US and dellusional conspiracy theories. The world does not revolve around the US and its playground bickering with Iran. This has nothing to do with any that - ask any Russian. This talk only deters from the actual actual issues. This is part of a well known, long-term conflict in Russia, and sadly terrorist acts like this are not uncommon.


This is carried out by the Muslim Extremist Terrorist groups. They can not longer even be called Chechen, since their goal was never just to have an independent Chechnya. They wanted to create a nationwide chaos with all Muslims in Russia joining their ****ing holy war, and it spread outside of Chechnya into republics like Dagestan, Ingushetia, and Kabardino Balakaria. Well the terrorist factions lost the big war, and the majority of Russian Muslims didn't mobilize behind their extremist agenda, and now their sole purpose in life is to continue to wreck havoc and kill as many civilians as possible in coward terrorist attacks.


Russia continues to hunt these pigs out around the North Caucasus, but they still manage to recruit. Sadly terrorist attacks like this will continue for the foreseeable future, as it is near impossible to eliminate the terrorist cells completely. All they need to carry out an attack is one brainwashed piece of ****, and so homemade explosives.

In my opinion the best thing to do for Russia is learn from Israel in applying best anti-terrorist tactics, as well as learning how to infiltrate the terrorist cells in order to gain insight and kill their top leaders in precise strikes. Unless the leadership is eliminated, attacks will continue. As for the suicidebombers - they are typically mentally inhabited idiots and won't do anything if their leadership isn't their to brainwash them.



RIP to all who died. Making those who are responsible suffer mercilessly won't make the suffering of those who died any less, but it will prevent suffering in the future.

Honestly, SVO security is a bit tighter, at least in my experience. It's harder to get to if you're trying to slip a bomb/weapon in, and it's a LOT closer to security forces.

Do you know the history of said Caucasus nations? If you did then you would know it is not as easy. For countless ages (until mid 19th century) the Chechen mountain tribes have terrorized the entire region. All of the people of the Caucasus (Georgians, Azerbaijanis, Ossetians, Turkik ethnicities, Russians, Adygs, Kazaks) have their struggles and run-ins with Chechnens well documented in history books and stories. Chechens historically survived by attacking and plundering others, and taking slaves from neighboring peoples and making them work. All of their neighbors are to this day afraid of their utter ruthlessness and banditry.

Well you will say - surely today it is different. Sadly - no it is not. I personally have lived in North Caucasus, and I know from experience that little changed in terms of culture and society for the Chechens. Given the freedom, they will want more and more. They will want slaves since they don't like to work, and they will want money since their sh*thole of a republic has nothing of value - and both they will seek externally. This is what started to happen when they were de-facto independent from 1991 to 1994, and again from 1996 to 1999. Just read up on attacks on Ossetians, Dagestan, and ethnical cleansing on Russians who lived in Chechnya.

And you may say that not all Chechens are like that. True. But a majority is, and that majority would no doubt be in charge in the region was independent.


You need to consider that Chechnya was never an independent country. They were never an organized societies with laws. Before there was Russia, they were a collection or constantly warring village tribles, whose main business was war. I am not a fan of calling others savages, but that is the only word that fits these people - I speak from experience.
