I'm no maths whizz by any mens but think this is a pretty rare event.
(Math minds please ilucidate!)

It's just for fun, if odd...

If you take the last two digits of the year you were born and
add them to the age you will be this year...

I found this chilling yet thrilling when I did it. Just one of those things?

This is natural, you are only dividing the 111 years into to parts (your age and your birth year):
111 = birth year + age

I had a carton of a dozen (12) eggs. I took 5 of the eggs out and boiled them. then i put the boiled eggs back into the carton.
My friend Joey also had a carton of a dozen eggs. He decided he only wanted to boil 2 of his. then he too put his boiled eggs back into his carton.
By some crazy means i cannot understand, we each still had a dozen eggs in our own cartons.

no offense to the OP, but too many ppl just keep thinking this means something.

when u start with a certain amount of years (111 from 1900 - 2011) then split it into 2 categories. then add the 2 together, of course its gonna end up being the same number. its still 111 years, just split in different proportions by everyone.

Its nothing special just simple maths. There has been 111 years since 1900. You take any number between 1 and 100 and then add another number to make it up to 111. For example if you were born in 1980. this year you will be 31. 80 (year of birth) plus 31 (age) comes to 111. next year everyones will add up to 112 last year 110. Unless you were born on or after 2000, then it will add up to 11, as there has been 11 years since 2000.

Its just like saying if you add your year of birth with your age this year it will add up to 2011.

Don't feel silly.. The original thread that was on here got a huge response.. Fair play for taking your time and effort to put it up here..
As mentioned before, it is just simple maths.. Still quite cool none the less..
