The Crow would probably be my favourite film.

Star Wars as a series of films, excluding Phantom Menace. Jar Jar Binks was the worst character idea ever.

I also really liked Jurassic Park for the CGI. It was amazing at the time.

Star Wars (original trilogy) is still my absolute favorite of all time.

I enjoy so many though, and in different genres... I love slapsticks like Airplane! or Blazing Saddles, even romantic movies like Titanic, or action flicks like Predator, etc., and pretty much any movie made during the 80's (which I still consider our cultural pinnacle)...
I also love horror movies, from slashers to psycho-thrillers and ghost stories.

Gotta go with The Shawshank Redemption.

(I don't think it's techincally the "best" movie ever made, but there's a difference between "best" and "favorite".)

They understand that if it made money the first time, maybe it will make money the second time. History seems to bear some truth to the idea...so I can see WHY they do it, even if I don't agree with it.

Personally, I'm cool with remakes that try new twists on things, but would prefer to see sequels (good sequels) instead.
