Why are so many people arguing over the subtle nuance of Beck's tripe in this thread.
He is inciting violence, whether tongue in cheek, sarcastic, the not...
He is inciting violence.

I see people on ATS constantly state things that are similar to "having to shoot people in the head" (more or less), in order to rid or further an agenda; and those people are post banned and/or laughed off of the boards by most people.

Glenn Beck has one job and one job only and that is to make anyone who seems somewhat "radical" in their beliefs look like a complete nut.
It is no surprise that he signed a 40 million dollar contract before he hit it big. (to be a "Rodeo Clown": his words not mine)

He is obviously being used to fill an agenda. He latches onto to subtle outlandish elements found within the current community of "conspiracy theorists", a community promoted by the intelligence agencies mind you (more on that in a sec), and then blows them out of proportion like a total windbag, and our community winds up looking as bat%^&* crazy as that fool. Guilt by association.

Now onto the community being a creation of the CIA.

Disinformation is useful. The more that TPTB can control a community through creating controlled opposition (Beck, Alex Jones, Freeman, Jordan Maxwell, Icke, etc...), then the outcome of the chaos is known and owned.

Think people.

This is psychology, which you might be unfamiliar, but his actions are what behaviorists refer to as conditioning.

His exact words taken with no context speak for themselves, along with Alex Jone's screams and girlish cries and Jordan Maxwell's outright lies.

He is creating an abominable persona that then becomes associated with the anyone with similar BELIEFS (and several of those beliefs have been associated with a groupified set of people known as "conspiracy theorists").

I can't lie... as I saw the thread title, I had a bit of chuckle. I imagined a fat kid running into the house yelling, "Dad!! Glenn said to shoot the Dems in the head!"

No offense to the OP, but this thread comes off like tattle telling. Plus yeah.. if this was said, it was said in June 2010. That would have been the time to condemn him, not January of 2011.

You've pretty much nailed it. I think american's as a whole (and most of ATS included) are pretty easy to fool. Look how many people are running up to defend Beck even though it's pretty easy to see what he's about. People defend Jones even though he has been caught in lies on his show constantly. Many people defend them because they are followers. They represent agendas these people have latched on to and will defend to their last breath because they have invested their ego's into it.

Don't worry ATS you are going to get what you want. Obama is a one-termer and meant to be that. You probably won't get Palin, but you will get another neo-con. We'll have another war. The top 10% of this country will further consolidate their wealth so they end up with close to 90% of all the assets (instead of the paltry 70% they have now). This still won't be a problem to many of you because any mention of such facts is Socialism.

The more i listen to the average American the more I think it's time to expatriate.

Once again I must ask why some people get so caught up in how much others make?
Is it fair?Hmmmmmmm............not so much unfortunately. But then again much of life is not fair, get over it already. Try to worry a little more about ones own finances and less about others.
If government would get out of business the Free Market can and will work. The Government is actually the problem. Not the "average American" your fellow citizen, not Beck, or Jones. The Government and their need to help their banker buddies.
Say what you want, Government is the problem, Republicans as well as Democrats. You can help fix this problem or do as you suggest and expatriate, PLEASE.

Yea, pretty much everyone who listens to Beck questions nothing of what he says. This is similar to what followers of other personalties do. Your first sentence was so predictable as to be laughable.
