These four rotor helicpters have been programmed to work co-operatively in constructing most anything.

Here, in somewhat smaller scale, is the blueprint for co-operative efforts by robot helicopters to construct all kinds of things...
The video is short and very amazing....
Please check it out, you will not be dissapointed......

I can see the construction industry changing but it will take time.

It will be pretty wild when you can watch a building being assembled by autonomous robots.

Kind of like the Jetsons.

This is awesome but is there any videos on a larger scale? Those mini rotors aren't going to build me a house, or a room. But if i was a 3 ft tall person i would love them to build me a house.

Perhaps there is a wait involved for full sized machines to build your condo, but the proof of principal is right before you....
There is also a new way of powering these up by lasers....
The helicopter is on the recieving end of a laser which tracks it, supplying the power for its flight.....

Those full size jobs werent held too firmly by the staging...
The ones in miniature, have no such drawbacks....

Take four Chinook transports and align them like that and I bet we could build the pyramids.
Who knows, it might even break some rotary wings speed records.

More likely to break some rotary wings first methinx.....
The concept obviously calls for specially designed and strangthened structure that is balanced not only by wieght, but by its ability to deal with stress forces in all directions.
The miniatures are obviously only in need of scaling their powers and materials up to normal size standards.
The four choppers tied together with a bit of string and a few struts didnt stand a chance.....
It has to be one machine with four rotors.A little different proposition....
I believe there is applications awaiting all sizes of this principal, both micro, and macro...even possibly nano too....
