The Tea Party was real when it was inspired by Libertarian ideals. It lost the way when the mass of neo-Confederates who make up the bat# crazy wing of the GOP joined in the fun.

The irony is that the typical tea bagger would have been more likely to be a Tory in the Revolutionary war. Republican. Traditionalist. Conservative. NOT radical revolutionaries like our founding fathers.
