Exactly. But hey, I get it. This one is different to you all. Gotcha!
It is actually VERY different..
The last few Presidents came from very well known families in the US..
Their births were probably covered by TV, Newspapers and Magazines..
Pretty hard to hide the birth of a Bush or a Kennedy..
Obama came from nowhere..
We know so little of his or his families past..
I doubt his birth raised much attention on MSM like a Bush or a Kennedy..

So what? This is a weak and lame rebuttal and is a textbook example of a strawman argument. Whether or not a president comes from a well known
family is irrelevant. Are you saying we should value presidential candidates based on their families and connections? Bill Clinton's boyhood home
was a shack compared to those of many of our former presidents. I highly doubt his birth was even announced in his local newspaper, let alone in any
of the other major news outlets.
And actually, no, as a matter of fact the last few U.S. presidents
did not all come from well known families in the U.S. Much like Obama,
several U.S. presidents from the last 60 years were also born into less than notable or wealthy families and their births likely
did not make
the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, or the CBS evening news. Here's a short summary of some of them (all sourced from Wikipedia):
- Ronald Reagan (40th pres, 1981-1989) Born in a second floor apartment of a commercial building in Tampico. Ilinois.
- Richard Nixon (37th pres, 1969-1974) His early life was full of hardship especially after his family's ranch failed.
- Lyndon B. Johnson (36th pres, 1963-1969) Was born in a small farmhouse near Stonewall, Texas.
(Kennedy was 35th pres, just so you know)
- Dwight D. Eisenhower (34th pres, 1953-1961) To quote from Wikipedia: "Eisenhower's father, David Jacob Eisenhower, was a college-educated engineer
but had trouble making a living and the family was poor."
So, you see, NOT very different at all.
And by the way, "Obama came from nowhere" is possibly one of the laziest "birther" attack statements I have ever seen.
