No, I thought your post was in relation to the Agenda 21 aspect of this story. I think your post and the Executive Order are pertinent here as well. It could be that DEP with the assistance of FDLE is trying to silence this guy so they can continue their agenda unfettered by pesky facts and videos.

My bad.. its been a long day and it only started about 2 hours ago. We are on the same page now lol. I accidentally replied in this thread when answering a question in another that talked about Obamas EO and oceans, lakes etc.

Didnt really think about it applying in this case, so nice catch on your part.

well this proves that the government is the MOB.
if some one breaks the law you report them.
"Apparently this guy legally recorded conversations with
a Congressional Aide, the telephone conversation came
after a standard disclaimer that calls to the office may be recorded. "
so he Brock no laws.
and the MOB muscles him. to silence him.

thing about how the Mob works and then thing how the government working.

good post

And the mob knows they are untouchable. So this guy has his civil rights violated, his career ended unlawfully, and his only recourse is a lawsuit. The government had confiscated all evidence against themselves and gotten away with their crimes. If they later lose a civil lawsuit, they will pay out a couple of million in taxpayer money and they won't think twice about it.

So, they have already won. As soon as they breached his front door they had won. Even if he sues and wins, it is just money that doesn't belong to them anyway! They seized the evidence against them by force.

With the greatest respect, the Tea Party can go hang for all I care. I am only interested in the case, and the Tea Party have no part in that specific element of this .
I find it interesting that the only copy of the files which are evidenciary regarding this loggers discussion with Tyson, were on his home computer. If I was that guy I would have sent every family member, friend, local bar, and local political group a copy , and all the newspapers too! The fellow knew already that he was under threat, and that he had a serious peice of evidence for corrupt practice by the DEP. The moment you get that kind of dirt on a government body, it doesnt matter wether its the Department for the Lovely Treatment Of Small Fluffy Stuffed Animals, you get your information dispersed and secured, and then you can at least rest easy in the knowledge that should you get your home raided, you will be able to get your files back, or get them out in the wider public domain. Heck , you could by a system of tweets and mails get a network of fallback publishers ready for the information should you or your home or family come under any form of assualt.
Of course none of that should be required because democracy ought to be democratic, but he knew it didnt work that way, and its a crying shame he didnt step up to the plate and take some measures to protect his hard won data.
That said, Im amazed that local groups havent been up in arms about this. If this happened to a political activist in my backyard I would be at the gates of my local civic centre with banners and flags and at least a hundred angry douchebags, within a matter of hours.

The article doesn't say, but I am guessing that he thought YouTube would be sufficient as a way of dispersing his videos. He didn't realize that those videos would be deleted so easily.

Otherwise, I agree with you, and someone with dirt on the government should get it dispersed and contingencies for contingencies set up!

Having already been the target of an intimidation attempt in 2008(machine gun fire)this guy was sorely lax in his securing of data. That is, he was not perpared for the fact that the goverment would ignore his civil rights.
It must be a rude awakening to know now that the goverment is working alonside of those who shot at his home in 2008.
This kind of power abuse is the stuff of totalitarian goverments everywhere. It is the very reason for the second ammendment of the constitution.
Though this person was outgunned, and outnumbered, by the feds, there will come a day when the forces of contention will be far more balanced.
We have to keep this mans story alive, and before the public.
It is more of a duty than we realise to spread this information to those who may find it incredulous.
The courage, and steadfastness of this man is remarkable, and the fight is far from over for justice for us all.....

This is pure speculation, but a guy making his profession as a "swamp logger" is probably a pretty isolated kind of guy. He does not have a network of friends or contacts to help him make a physical stand. He is doing an outstanding job of documenting and staying politically active.

Eventually, one of these civil rights violations will happen to a guy like this that happens to have 100 friends and neighbors willing to come to his assistance!

Imagine 12 or 15 assault style agents at his front door and his wife on the phone to the rest of the good ol' boys in his neighborhood. He refuses entry and they turn around to find 50 or 100 armed militia ready to defend his civil rights. Of course they would call for backup, but most localities don't have 100 officers ready to face an armed standoff of this magnitude. Eventually both sides would grow in number, it would hit the national news, and the whole situation would bring this "totalitarian" government to light for the general public.

So far the government has gotten lucky with isolated "cults" like Waco, but eventually they will pick on someone that isn't so isolated!

You bring up a lot of good things...

It is floridia, and they put the other 49 states to shame on corruption...

It appears the poor man suffers from TB (true believerism) and came down with a bad case of it.... Their are at least several more effective means to get them then turning them in or exposing them...

Might I at this point ask how it could be done and not be exposed...

-net masking software
-multiple youtube accounts...
-is his business self emplolyed change it over LLC...

As for the charge, of taping a converation... It is not illegal to record a conversation as long as one person knows it...

File an in injunction in federal court on equally rediculous grounds... Call green peace... For them endangering crocidiles or other animals...

File the lawsuit also against the agent named in the link... Sue him for theft and damage... Yes he had warrant, but did that warrant specifically state they did not have to take off there shoes when they entered the house... Carpet damage is expensive... Ask for millions from the agent... emotional tramua the carpet was a family heirloom...

I hope he fights with heart and imagination... I have to ask the LEO's here...

What other tactics would you advise this man to fight them with...

Good post and great find...

s and f....

Commerce in deed!

Whatever it takes to control resources and make some profit. The scariest part is that this could happen to any of us. There was an ATS thread about a home being raided because of a hamster heater mistaken for a "grow light."

With my posts on ATS, and my gun purchases, and my turtle heater, and my affiliations with motorcycles and Masons and rednecks in general, I could easily be the target of a misplaced raid!

I know and to be honest I too rarely have a day pass when the 'thought' does not come to mind, the bigger problem is that they can actually set us up if they chose to, and the way people react when something like that goes down even your best friends could turn on you so as to keep the heat off of themselves.

Now turning does not always mean turning on you as in snitching or even making up or agreeing to false accusations, it can mean turning their back on you too.

I think about the politicians who get the sex/child sex scandals thrown at them, rarely do people side with them or stand up for them in those cases. The best they can say is"Oh it is shocking, he always seemed like such a quiet man, such a good neighbor..." Never, "I flat out refuse to believe this nonsense! This man was plainly set up!!!" It is a protective mechanism which tptb know and use to their advantage.

S+F for you, this needs to be noticed. I don't even really know what to say about this, besides the fact that it is completely illegal.

America is a very free nation. It is a representative republic. We can worship how ever we choose. We can organize a protest. We can have guns. We can watch free porn. We can say "Heil Hitler". We can work and get an education where ever we choose. We can badmouth the president all we want. We have opportunity in the USA. My ancestors came to the USA from Eastern Europe with NOTHING and they became very wealth with the opportunities presented to them here. I have traveled extensively in the world and believe me, the USA is the best place to make money and live in freedoms (but I do not tend to get along with most of my fellow Americans and their values).

Sure, other countries might have more liberal stances on certain thing, such as drugs, but all in all, America is the freest.

You don't have to like Americans, or agree with their politics, but you can't deny the freedoms present towards you.

But I guess it all depends on what you consider "free""

However, they were able to provide us with a wealth of DEP and other documentation dating back to 2003 to support claims of an official investigation into impropriety by state officials, including dumping of hazardous materials into sinkholes at Suwannee River State Park. All state employees were ultimately exonerated by the DEP Inspector General and a criminal investigation was launched against non-state employees for the dumping.

Apparently he got video footage and documents to prove that the DEP and private contractors had been dumping pollution into sinkholes in a state park. After the IG investigation exhonerated state employees, he started contacting state offices and he got some incriminating statements from a congressional aide recorded.

The recorded statements are what prompted the search and seizure, even though no crime was committed!

Instead of just bitching and moaning about this on ATS, this man needs legal backing. It sounds like the criminals are those working in the state agencies. If the search warrant was illegal, then the judge who signed it needs to be publicly exposed and prevented from being re-elected. If the state agencies that obtained the search warrants did so on the basis of false affidavits, then the state employess who signed those affidavits are criminals, together with those up the government agency ladder who approved their actions.

This notion that an act that would be criminal if committed by a private citizen is legal if the same act is committed by a government agency or its employees needs to be overturned. The people need to prosecute those in government who commit crimes with impunity as though they are immune from accountability for thier misdeeds and crimes.

Bottom line here is that this man needs legal backing, which can be expensive. Is anyone setting up a fund for him?

If so, I will send some money. $10 or $20 each from 1,000 people goes a long way. Anyone else?

There’s nothing to fight, when the government has the power over the people.
It is un-American to report government fraud in our government. The Truth has turned into an enemy in our government. It is unpatriotic to talk about 911 in public. Don’t believe me; look at the no accountability in the Bush administration and 911. The lies the government told the American people to fool them into two illegal wars. We cannot fight a corrupt system so enjoy what little we do have. My opinion is the United States has turned down a destructive road of no return just as Rome did. This is not the great country that I was born and raised in, I hardly recognized this country political spectrum anymore, and it has become so negative. What we are witness is nothing, it’s just the beginning.
