Since most have already connected this as some sort of strategum on part of the Chinese, coinciding with their PM visit to the US, I will save some time. While China could prove a formidable foe in an all out war with the US of A, I do not see what they have to gain in openly allying themselves with a pariah such as Pyongyang and NK. China does not seem to have any solid ideology other than making their ruling party richer. They tweak their "Communism" constantly in order to keep order, I cannot see them starting some sort of Marxist crusade upon the West. The majority of Chinese citizens still live as those in the Third World, despite recent public relation attempts to show China as "modern". China uses it's guns to keep it's own citizens in line, they won't find this to be easy when their guns are distracted on Western enemies.

Maybe it's my American arrogance speaking (sarcasm), but I think we've got China under wraps in terms of foreign relations. If they have any significant amount of US debt (which they REALLY don't), it is because we WANT them to believe they have bargaining chips. The Western world has been GIVING China praise, in hoping that some sense of pride will affect their human rights records, as their citizens DEMAND equality if they truly are a rising super power.

OR, perhaps this is all carefully orchestrated like some believe WWI and II were, by global bankers. Have the last great Communist nemesis make a last great stand against the West; they go down, but not without taking a ton of American lives with them (limited nuclear warfare). The European Infrastructure remains intact however as no European army is viewed as any major threat. China (and North Korea) is utterly laid to waste, and suddenly the world is under one ideology, one currency, and the world population has been halved in a fell swoop. The rebuilding of America and China will be done using Green technologies (as much of Europe already is).

Not likely. Don't underestimate us.

As to video games. I played them all my life. Then I decided to try our paint ball. I went for 7 hours without getting shot. My first time. Evidently, the other team was from S Korea. Ironic.

However, let me assure you. Video games ARE experience.

Experience for what? You think soldiering is like video gaming? Paintball helps your CQB skills, you'll tell me next.
Physical stamina, honing your 'muscle memory' to perform tasks without thinking, memorizing small unit tactics and drills, expert knowledge on the disassembly, assembly, manipulation, and capabilities of every firearm under your command, etc etc. I haven't even touched on leadership skills/traits, self aid/buddy aid, radio procedures, understanding chain of command blah blah blah.
Stepping onto a two-way firing range with "videogame experience" is a quick way to end up on the wrong side of the ground, pal.

Dayum right man. I am not afraid to admit how I got shot. Two shots, straight to the fact. Bam, to my eye, bam, to my nose. I would have been deader than dead. I would have been goo. But you know what? I lasted 7 hours. not a single injury. Not a single fall. Not a single tired moment. The sweat in your eyes, the burn of the salt, the smoke, the hectic order. Watching my friends fail where I succeed. Storming a base. Successfully maintaining a heavy assault siege. My good sir, I would have given hell to the enemy and in real life, they would have retreated long before the end. And when I did get shot? It was absolutely stupid beyond belief. popping up to see the enemy atop a towering base in front of over 50 enemies. But I knew it was a game, and in real life I would not do something so dumb.

I can faithfully proclaim that if Red Dawn: China edition occurred in real life, I would have taken down many many soldiers before being fatally wounded. And I know I would die. The point is not to live to fight another day. The point is a human wave of utter misery to the enemy, so much so to the point that they give up completely. So utterly in ruin. Seeing so many Americans dead and yet still being destroyed. That is the shock. That is what makes armies run away. When a soldier sees hundred of his friends, and thousands of his enemies die, and yet they are still fighting as hard as day one, they begin to feel hopeless. They begin to realize what it is they are in. it doesn't matter they have the tech, manpower, and bullets. They are doomed unless they leave. They see the lands they are trying to take being burned away. They see their resources under constant assault. The war becomes pointless. Why are you fighting to take a scorched Earth apocalyptic nothingness? You are not taking cities or glorious landmarks. You are literally taking charcoal and death. The war becomes utterly for no reason, and despair falls into the ranks. They decide that it is better to let these people have their burnt earth than to bother with this wretched war. And the day is won.

Doubt it. First time I saw a real gun, the guy didn't know how to handle it. I took the gun. flicked the right parts, let the clip out, then pulled back the top and let the bullet in the gun fly out. I'd never seen the gun before. I'd never even fired one before. And yet I knew how to maintain it, disassemble it, and put it back together again. There are street smarts, and there are book smarts. I have book smarts. And It's not let me down yet. As to the other stuff, read my above post.

so their 1990 version nuclear warhead technology is no match for americas current nuclear warheads.
that makes sense.

also 20 years ago america unveiled the stealth bomber, f-117, that wrecked havoc on iraq. so according to your theory china now has similar technology, that could wreck havoc on s.korean cities and american troops.

america hasn't been really tested since ww2. i think the american public has fallen for military propaganda and years of beating up on 3rd world countries and defenseless arab nations.

america might be able to beat n.korea but china has the capability to launch icbm's at america. you will not know what fear really is until a nuclear strike hits your city or the powergrid and all power is cut off.

the police won't be there to help, the politicians will all be in bunkers and it will be every man for himself.

and you'll say, so what we'll turn china into glass, but it will be pretty hard to repeat those words when you're vaporized or crying for death while you slowly die of radiation poisoning or see your family burnt alive.

who has more to lose, america's over 300 billionaires and over 2.7 million millionaires, trillions upon trillions of dollars in infrastructure, nfl teams, mlb teams, nba teams, nhl teams, multi-million dollars mansions, disneyworld, casinos and every other kind of luxury and diversion you can imagine, or chinas 1 billion plus citizens that mostly live in poverty and filth and are being used as slave labor by the communist party's elite to line their pockets and live like kings.

who do you think will be more ready to sacrifice their citizens, a communist dictarship that uses their citizens as worthless slaves or a democracy beholden to their citizens.

ghost towns in china.

if they want to start some #, well just whip their asses again and send them home.
back then they still had more troops than the un and still lost. most people don't realize
that there were other countries involed in the Korean war, besides the us and sk.

you make me remember a huge shopping mall that was all abandonned in china

There is no place perfect... each human system that we have build by greed his unsustainable
those pesky government stealing from their people with the bank thiefs
to make wars

there is billion of people in China .. they regulated the babies .. why would some place be abandonned like this
this is an bad economic side effect .. same thing happening with some US cities

and we know only a war in these time will make money appear like magic

Sure thing, Rambo. Flicking the right parts, pulling back the top, letting the bullet fly out. You have booksmarts. You're ready for a kinetic engagement, without doubt.

US resistance would make Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan look like a side show........

I would place my bet any day on a chinese soldier against a starbucks drinking, iphone tweeting douchebag who thinks he knows how to shoot a gun because he plays call of duty. In all honesty, the majority of the private american citizens would cower in fear in their basements if there was an invasion and you know it.

Sure, we have douchebags that enjoy a tasty Starbucks while tweeting on their iphones (or blackberries, as the case may be). But we also have REDNECKS!!!

Apparently some of them folk like Starbucks, too.

And guns!

Pretty creative, too!

Yet sophisticated:

And well adept at training their animals:

And, apparently, wives:

and:

But not to worry, it appears that there is only about 80 million rednecks in America.

I take it you have not met many Americans? Your taking a huge group of individuals and then stereotyping them in to this fictional version of what your imagination perceives. What you seen in re runs of the Married With Children, what your hate spewing circles regurgitate among each other overseas. I assure you a very small percentage of Americans have even played COD usually teenagers like yourself play games.

I have a confession, I am guilty of enjoying starbucks

Never mind my Army service that went out the window, combat skills meh

Met a guy that owned a i phone once, have yet to own one.

Private Americans? Actually we air out our business for all to see on facebook, nothing to hide. And ya know the millions of us Yanks that buy and own Guns really have no concept how it works..that trigger thingy is tricky, we really want them because they make great paper weights. And all those kids shooting each other in the City streets over gang territory seem to be seasoned in gun play, im sure if they would shoot you over wearing the wrong color or taking your $120 Jordans they would not have a problem handling some farmer with an AK from the other side of the planet.

Never mind the Rednecks up my street itching to shoot something. We love violence here in America, you obviously do not have any idea nor pay attention. In your little mind we are all clones of George Bush one would guess. But i leave you to marinate in your mindless drivel for now. Maybe you will figure something out, screw in a light bulb all by yourself. Will the bulb light up?

Fear the Chinese people!

Yes but there are smarter people than gun pulling deer hunters...there are chinese nerds who sit there all day long with their calculators to try to kill you. All they have to do is introduce a bioweapon into the US food and watersupply and no amount of bullets will protect the USofA.

You have to weaken the US first. Destroy all communications, food, fuel, water, and power supplies and then go for the people with bullets. You cant eat bullets for food.

But this will never happen because neither china will invade usa or vice versa, it will just never happen. This is just a fantasy of the rednecks like Gainsayer, who thinks that his military training (if he has any) will win a guerrilla war.

I think this is just saber-rattling propaganda - the source of this information is the US-backed, constantly provocative South Korean government (an anonymous South Korean source, no less). So let's dig before we run around attacking each other over how the sky is going to fall because of this.

News title in OP: Chinese Troops Deploying In North Korea (Source)

This article is taken verbatim from another article, which I found at the bottom of the OP's page. What's interesting is that everything in the article is copied verbatim except the title!

Original article title: China planning to move troops into North Korea (Source)

Whoops - guess they had to change the title to make it a little more "fact-y", huh?

Furthermore, in a battle of information and propaganda, where would we be without news claiming the exact opposite or what is being reported as "fact" by South Korea.

All those who buy into the whole anti-Chinese rhetoric, have a quick gander here to see how the US (and apparently their South Korean allies) are manipulating public opinion about China in a completely hypocritical way.

The war has already begun - it's a battle for hearts and minds, not for casualty counts and old-fashioned military dominance. I feel a lot of you have taken the brainwashing bait... Hook, line, and sinker.

China continues to quietly prepare....for what? In the last 5 years it has been reported that "they"

1) possibly hacked into the US Power Grid
2) proved they could take out a satellite
3) have an undetectable sub
3) have steal technology
4) can hit moving carriers

I am no expert but it you told me I had one day to come up with an outline on how to defeat the US those 4 items would be on the wish list.

Americans will be so much controlled if a Red dawn happen ..

Electricity plant and water supply will be the secrets to control the americans
not to rebel against the invasion

Water is local in almost every place. And if you can't, burn sea water. Most Americans live by the sea. As for food? America is plentiful. The only place it would be hard would be the south west in some places.

I really think you should rethink your faith in America being submittable.

Thats what they said about iraq and afghanistan, they had guns but we still invaded...and its not going well for us in Afghanistan.

If someone invaded the US it would be easier if they first poison the food and water supply, destroy all power and all that stuff.

Then you do the military stuff. Chinese people can live off less food than us americans. So the US people will die of hunger first then you do the rest.
