Hi!! My friends call me MommaT. I've been a long time reader of ATS, but only joined today. The forum thread on folks not sleeping just kind of got to me and I had to post a reply.

I'm 4? yo live in Minnesota,USA, mother of 2 grandmother of 1 and married. Education, College grad. Politically, I consider myself a Libertarian. By that I mean the Constitution, Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights.

I was raised to be a truth seeker. I'm naturally skeptical. I have to see something in several places before I'll believe any of it. If a topic catches my attention, I will start following links all day long until I 'link myself in a corner' (wind up right back where I started ). I know what I see happening in this world. It does not scare me... but it does cause me concern. One of my favorite things to study is prophesy. Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hopi, Mayan, Zoraster... a few others?? I know I've seen a lot of commonality between them. (personally, I wonder why folks didn't listen when this stuff was warned of so many years in advance?) I've also done my best to make sure my children question everything around them and everything they hear.

I like what I've read in ATS, more so then other 'conspiracy sites' because everyone gets a say, even if they sound totally off the chain nuts. Someone will post something and sure enough as many people come to counter them as back them up. The postings and arguements are honest and respectful, as I try to be of others. For that reason I always come back to this site on most any topic I'm researching just to see what ATS folks had to say about it.

PS please forgive my spelling errors. I happen to be a very bad speller, but I do try to spell phonetically.

Hey, this has been a great place to share ideas and learn more about what is going on around the world, even if there are a few nut jobs around. It can be hard to know which side of the debate they are on at times, but it is all good as have been some very good quality debates going on. Take care.
