Can anybody see the Near Earth Asteroid that is supposed to be flying overhead?, page

There supposed to be an asteroid, 2011 AN52, approx 0.8 LD buzzing by us now.
LD means "Lunar Distance." 1 LD = 384,401 km, the distance between Earth and the Moon. Here is the JPL orbit. ssd.jpl.nasa.gov...
I’m at Wright-Patt AFB and we have cloud cover
Can any one see it?

I am actually a amateur astronomer and was looking forward to watching tonight, but alas unfortunately we have cloud cover as well

Unfortunately I don't think it will be visible in Australia, but I was just looking at spaceweather ssd.jpl.nasa.gov... and it would seem that it will actually come as close as .0021 AU that's pretty danged close. If it was bigger I bet there would be a lot of eyes on the skies to make sure it didn't alter course lol.

According to Space Weather.com:

ASTEROID FLYBY: Newly-discovered asteroid 2011 AN52 is flying past Earth today just inside the orbit of the Moon (0.8 LD). The space rock is only 8 meters wide, about the size of a small room, so even experienced amateur astronomers will have trouble photographing it as it zips through the northern constellations Draco and Cygnus glowing like an 18th magnitude star.
