July 10, 2004 HAVANA (Reuters) - A group of Americans openly challenged the Bush administration's tough new restrictions on Cuba on Saturday by
traveling to the Communist-run island to donate 126 tons of aid gathered in the United States.
Wearing T-shirts that said "Regime change in the US, not in Cuba," the 120 members of the Pastors for Peace humanitarian organization arrived in
Havana from Mexico before a shipment that includes school buses, medicines, medical equipment, computers and books.

Does the pain and suffrage of the Cuban people end with Castro?
So close and yet so far, Cuba and it's people are so close to a land of freedom that the call to it leads many to risk death just to cross the waters
to escape the oppression and strife of their homeland.
Over the years the Cuban people have seen many families broken, some in the U.S.A. some in Cuba.. neither knowing the fate of the other.
The political divide between the nations has caused this pain on these people and it is just wrong.
Deny Ignorance. Save the Cuban people.
Perhaps one day this painful embargo imposed on Cuba will be lifted, an embargo that has not done anything to weaken the leadership but everything to
harm the innocent people of Cuba who want nothing more than the most simple things in life we seem to take for granted everyday.
Castro's oppressive communist regime will not relent it seems and Washington is just as stubborn. But what of the people trapped between these two
parties?
