Hu Highlights Need for U.S.-China Cooperation, Questions Dollar

online.wsj.com

Chinese President Hu Jintao emphasized the need for cooperation with the U.S. in areas from new energy to space ahead of his visit to Washington this week, but he called the present U.S. dollar-dominated currency system a "product of the past" and highlighted moves to turn the yuan into a global currency.

Basically outlining his intention of killing the US dollar as reserve currency pretty soon.

Most in America believe that China NEEDS the US. Well guess what? They don't. There's 40%+ of the world population in BRIC, and their purchasing power is increasing by the way while the US economy is going down the drain.

China Overtakes U.S. as Biggest Economy When Measured by Purchasing Power

Yes, the chinese economy is based on many lies, but the US too, and what is left for the US economy is the US dollar as reserve currency... and once this is gone... boooya... which China now says they are on the path of doing.

The US needs to clean house from the scum in government and the private federal reserve or China will overtake the US in the world.

I'm sure Obama will be welcoming this. I'm sure he'll push for it.

When the enemies see weakness they will attack, now they have attacked our currency. Next they'll be giving the orders.

Their purchasing power might be increasing, but do they have a big enough middle and upper class to support their own economy? Because Americans buy A LOT of their products atm. Do they have enough infrastructure and investors to keep their production up and keep their factory jobs once American businesses find that it's cheaper to do business elsewhere and start leaving by the droves? Ten or twenty years down the road, they may well have it, but that's why he says it will be a long time. And as far as a reserve currency goes, is anybody actually going to be stupid enough to play ball with a country that refuses to float its currency?

He highlights the need for U.S.-China cooperation, but his successor will eventually demand U.S. submission to China, and a global acceptance of the Yuan as a global currency.

They want cooperation, they want more US manufacturing, corporate relocation to China and the collapse of the US economy.

They want to be the global supreme power.

And the crafty bastards are well on their way already.

Hope Obama is practicing his bows.
