Very few people are far left or right, they are just the loudest speakers and they will not shut up!, the largest majority are in the middle.

Most Americans are both left and right, the problem is they have turned us into some weird socialist, theocratic democracy.

We need or republic back.

The middle or moderates are not extreme in nature and the majority. Too bad our voices and wills are not listened too.

The facts are that the paradigm in the US is that Liberals are "cool" and "progressive...going forward, man! Live and let live. Do what you want man, as long it's ok with us, or else!"

The conservatives are staid, rigid, imperialistic, authoritarian and grumpy. "Ahhh when I was your age, we didn't have no marijuana, or no electricity! We had sex with girls and only girls, and we liked it! And when the cops beat our heads in, we appreciated it!!"

Both stances are silly, because they allow a centralized "elite" to run their lives.

Im insulting you because you dont know what the hell youre talking about. Sorry but theres no easy way to say it.

If you think that drug dealers shouldnt get their prison term for polluting our children with that intoxicating *SNIP* that they pump themselves up with and then get behind the wheel of a car, or overdose, or spread HIV/AID's with needles, and the myriad of other social issues that drugs contribute to, then you are mentally ill, yes.

Left wing politics and right wing politics. Google. I dont need to write a book to help somebody that doesnt know what either one is better understand their policies.

The slicktalking psychopath leaders both side elect over and over and over are the same. If they were so different, why doesn't anything ever change when the power shifts? It is always pushes for more government, less freedom, just at different angles. They argue about crap that shouldn't even be federal issues in the first place, because they are hot button issues that will get the sheep riled and corralled.

Nicotine and Alcohol are considered drugs FYI, and posting workplace accidents and automobile accidents is stupid. Both statistics are also manipulated by drug abuse.

Well I looked at Wiki and found this about statsm.

"describing political movements which support the use of the state to achieve goals" I certainly believe that we must reduce the size of the public sector and also get the state out of our homes. Statism is mentioned by the followers of Adam smith. Therefore many will fall into the tired left/right paradigm and automatically denounce it.

I need to check more of this out.

People can be socially left and politically right or hawkish when it comes to security and dovish when it comes to sexuality for example.

The trouble is who ever won an election and then went on to cut the size ofthe public sector?
