I really feel like an alien and sometimes it´s hard, if you see world differently all the time. I´m not big fan of new age teachings either, same reasons like you have - too much money making and too much "one and only right path to enlightment."

quest for spirituality is interesting, to this one. At what point does one move their perspective from the "have not" to the "have?" Most will

beyond "for profit" spirituality. Love, happiness, peace.. Does one "have" or does one "not have?" It is a choice.
My favorite quote about ascension or transcendence is that it "loses its meaning in the rubble from whence it came." There is no great escape, this is it, and this is wondrous in its complexity (to put it mildly).
The love most certainly is not gone, many here have just chosen differently. But not everyone has chosen that road of fear, doubt, and anger. Many are choosing a different one, and this one hopes to push things along in that direction. As this one sees it, instead of choosing where to direct ones love, and by extension choosing where not to direct ones love, we should simply let it radiate and flow. Not here, or there, but both. Not inside, or outside, but all ways.
As far as "the end," what does it matter if its two years from now, or eighty? These bodies are headed that way, period, and it was destined to happen right from birth. "The end" was coming since the very moment of your birth. Perhaps when such things are staring humans directly in the face, they will be more apt to live and love freely, but it is a "personal" decision and journey. There is a strength derived from that visualization, and not a great many need to latch onto it truly to make a difference. Things such as this tend to be exponential in their growth. We will see what choices are made, but no matter what happens, it will be ok

Was just reading this: www.tierramerica.net... Because birds from my country home disappeared about week ago and
I was looking... evidence of something again . Anyway, it´s creepy if you are used to see birds in birdfeeder all your life and mostly in the
middle of winter and now it´s suddenly complete silence. I still don´t understand, what this means.
But reading these articles and knowing how honeybees disappeared couple of years ago you would guess, that on normal planet people would come together and do everything they can to save their home, but most people just don´t care and pretend like life continius the way it is forever. Like they´re blind. If this is not totally crazy, then I don´t know what it is :S.
