Early T. Rex Ancestor Found in South America

Its features, such as a balancing tail and air pockets in the skull, show it was closely related to T. rex, he said.

But while it stood on two feet like T. rex, Eodromaeus was a lightweight at just 10- to 15-pounds.

I just love stuff on dinos. Even though this little guy was found last year it is now causing paleontologists to reconsider another dinosaurs classification. The T-Rex was a rather large creature and he descended from a animal only 4 ft tall? Granted that it has some characteristics of the T-Rex, I wonder how long it will be till a new find causes them to reclassify it?The part that really caught my attention is the mention of dinosaur "Eve". Only a few million years off with known current findings?

Good find, i enjoyed reading the article

I have a feeling that there are many more finds to come about dinosaurs despite the amount of information on them we still do have a pretty vague idea of everything from the pre-historic era.
