Can you give me one example of where they got their facts wrong about any particular story, or are you just blowing smoke? Seriously, where are the examples their misdeeds

Actually, Beck backed Sherrod. Also, Fox at the time did play the video, but they tried to stay away from making an accusation until they saw the whole video.

Just use Google Search and have abovetopsecret.com as the site to search. There were all kinds of threads on it.

Beck is bat# crazy.

But he is making lots of money on a "news" network that is cynically market-driven. So maybe he is crazy like a fox.

But I would not believe a word he says. He has been proven inaccurate, many times.

That's it? That's the best you have? They handled that case better than any of the news outlets. You people are ridiculous with your blanket accusations about fox, with not one instance of where they misled anyone. Just because what they report doesn't agree with your political stance on a subject, you call them names. Fox news is the most unbiased source for news available in the US today. Again I ask all you fox haters, give me an example of where they are trying to mislead the viewer by lying about the facts. Give me an example.

Well, they did not accuse the killer in Arizona of being a right wing nut.

They did not say that the rhetoric was the cause of the killings.

They did not jump on the bandwagon to blame Palin, Beck, Levin, O'Reilly, me, you and everyone else for the attack.

OH WAIT, they were right!

Nevermind!

Well, it's been 24 hrs. since I asked for an example, one example of fox lying or misleading it's viewers. Not a peep. That's because there aren't any examples. Because you don't like the way they report the news, you attack them and call them liars. Childish behavior from adult minds. That's what progressives have always done. I have no use for Sean Hannity, but I understand what motivates him. I don't trust O'reilly because he's a hypocrite. But, when I tried to watch CNN or MSNBC or the broadcast networks,I see that they are purposefully slanting their reporting in favor of Obama. That's not their job, and that's why I don't watch them any more. Given the choices we have, FoxNews is my best chance for getting the whole story. If anyone out there can show me where they are deceiving me, I'm all eyes.

It is in my opinion that Glenn Beck is a hypocrite.

He gets a lot of good information out. But many times he comes across as a buffoon when he does. The fact that he just recently endorsed raising the debt ceiling means he's a sell out to what he says his beliefs about how this country should be run are. That flys in the face of everything else he says. It could be an honest mistake by the guy (we are all human and make mistakes) or it could be a crack on the surface paint and what is really going on underneath is showing. Either way ... no one should follow any other human being. Make up your own minds about everyone and everything they say.

Dude are you kidding? How about the Ron Paul CPAC straw poll a few weeks ago? They played footage from last years CPAC when Paul won it, but only put microphones in the Mit Romney section so it sounded like all he got were boos, when in reality there were more cheers. So is it not misleading that at this years CPAC Ron Paul won again, but they played last years footage with the microphones only in Romneys section? What about all the cases over the years where they were busted photoshopping pictures of people they didn't agree with, making their ears and noses bigger? In a few cases they apologized for that, meaning they did it. Or the Wisconsin protests this year with the reporter in the crowd saying "he hit me, this guy just hit me", getting it played on Oreilly I think, in hopes of showing union people as violent leftist thugs, but only playing the audio with the footage showing the crowd the day before, then later the footage came out of the "assault" showing that it was very crowded and while he was filming his bit some guy bumped into him, totally obviously accidental seemingly tripping over someone else' feet, BARELY bumping into the guy when he was trying to catch himself... Another deception from the Wisconsin protests was on one of the fox shows talking about the protests, painting unions as all bad people, showing footage from some union protest in California in a bright and sunny day with palm trees when some people got into a shoving match wearing shorts and t shirts. How about the day after 9/11 showing footage of "Muslims celebrating the attack on America", which later came out to be footage of someone's wedding in Pakistan 2 years earlier... I can't remember if this one was fox or what but it fits their profile, and the profile of the corporate media in general so I'll add it in, the footage of the Arabs burning the flag, which was later admitted by one of the producers on the scene to be a staged event paying the guys a small fee to do it and providing the flag. How about Ann Coulter saying that nuclear radiation is good for you? Here is another possible issue quotes from an article ... "Fox should remove Huckabee and Palin unless they unequivocally state they will not run for president. A credible news network should not be a welfare program for partisan candidates or a source of unregulated campaign donations for them by paying them for airtime.". There are many more iexamples, but those are the most recent over the past year and a half or so.

If you are a regular watcher of fox news and a staunch defender of them I might assume you think I'm a socialist liberal commie leftist lover of Stalin and Lenin hater of America new age atheist, but actually I'm a conservative who likes to do his own research when presented an article on a website or a report on TV that piques my interest, and whenever I have looked up something I saw on fox I come to find out they are sleazy liars by omission, who spin their news to no end, and have a dedicated following who drink from their fount of cognitive/consciousness poison, assuming things become fact after they are repeated enough times over and over again, rather than being facts because there is a stream of data on a specific topic proving something as a fact. Fox tells their viewers over and over and over and over again that they report "just the facts" and "no spin", when that is fundamentally impossible to do if you are a corporate news business. I believe in the Constitution. I do not believe in the false left/right paradigm that fox news props up. And no I don't watch or read CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC, CSPAN, CNBC, MSNBC, Headline News, Court Tv, Fox Business, New York Times, Time Magazine, Newsweek. I support the alternative media. The same alternative media that Glenn Beck steals his talking points from, and spins them in to Neo Con propaganda under the fake guise of Libertarianism. The same alternative media made up of people Beck and fox news dare not speak the names of for fear of losing more ratings, and the deeper darker fear of their bosses finding out who they are plagiarizing.

I too dont like Hannity. I watch Fox News but am careful about much of it. Like you I dont trust the other networks at all. CNN, We sometimes call it Chicken Noodle News. But I am also aware that Fox News shills for their political party as well.

I dont happen to think that the Republicans are conservative. I think the Republicans have the "appearance" of being conservative....but it is mostly fluff to keep the public on the string. I think many of the Republicans are what we call...Democrat Lite.

When I have time, I get a bit of my news and informations from this computer and short wave/Ham radio. You have to be careful here too as to the sources and bias. But I definitely dont trust the MSM. I am careful about Fox News as well. Dont fully trust them too.

As to Glenn Beck...Glenn is to much of a dram queen for me. Much of what he is alluding to I heard other people from 20 plus years ago working on that same tack. Much has happened in 20 years to attach names and parties to these concepts and understandings.

Alot of that which Glenn Speaks I understand and know of the pattern. I just dont like Glenn's Drama approach.
I dont care for alot of the Drama approach of most of the MSM as well. Nor the :"Gotcha" reporting going on

Thanks,
Orangetom

"Question with Boldness....but dont challenge the answer given."
Is more like what Beck means by what he does vs what he says.
