... as to say that a post gets a star and the thread gets a flag, so it will be put in "myATS" and you can follow it, and it's kind of a reward for the writer of the post or thread or both.

Other abreviations you may come across often in threads-

SHTF - Sh*t hit the fan

TPTB- the powers that be

Second line- Something poeple put under their one liner posts so they dont get mangled by admin (I think)

You see the blank stars above peoples posts in most forums ?

Click on it, and its like giving someone a reward for their post, Like if its made you laugh or you feel its a good contribution


The star systemin doesnt appear In ATS freshmens forum or in board business and questions forum, A flag is what ive just given you, You flag threads if you belive them to be a good threads

Its because these arnt forums relevant to conspiricies theorys or information on subjects other than the running of ATS and questions on how to use it

You kind of get stars for information/Contribution you provide, not questions you ask or answer

(Allthough many people get stars for their abusive or irritating posts, This is not generally what the star system is for)

No no no...you all have it wrong.

You see, S&F stands for:

Stand & Fart!

So as to release the built up pressure from reading the post!
That's the only reason I ever use it...and according to me, is the definition.

Or maybe its:
Starsky & Futch
Schooled & Fooled
Stopped & Farted


I might be taking it too far....
