Yeah I remember that redheaded little person who starred in a couple TV shows. If you called him a midget he would flare up big time.

Now for a red dwarf star to be deadly to life on nearby planets would assume that there is life on those planets. It would also assume that should there be life, that it would be life as we know it. Just like new species here on earth which have recently been discovered, they thrive in environments thought to be deadly to all life just a couple decades ago. Who knows? Interesting to speculate.
