I am aware that not all news makes it to the front page, however...
It seems very strange that the unprecedented flooding in Panama is not reported in the media.

Take a look. The Panama Canal was closed due to flooding first time in nearly 100 years.

In this video, I have never seen anything like it.
Is this an Island that has uprooted and is rushing down in the flood!?

Flooding Closes Panama Canal, Forces Evacuations

Flooding forced the closure of the Panama Canal Dec. 8, for the first time in 21 years — and heavy rains were being blamed for at least eight deaths in the Central American country.

More than 1,000 people in Panama were evacuated because of what authorities called historic flooding caused by record rainfall.

President Ricardo Martinelli said it was the first time the canal was closed because of weather since it opened in 1914.

Water Undrinkable Yet Rationed for 1 Million Panamanians
PANAMA CITY – After the worst downpours Panama has seen in the last 200 years, close to a million inhabitants of the capital have their water rationed and, for the first time in decades, cannot drink it directly because of contamination.

The complicated situation has no short-term solution, Panamanian Health Minister Franklin Vergara told reporters Saturday, adding that the latest analyses of 56 samples of water from the chief purification facility in the capital show no presence of bacteria

Panama is near the Equator.
Is this unprecedented weather from the drastic changes that have occured in The North Atlantic Current?

Yes, well I dug one up and posted it in the OP.

There are lots of pics, its just finding the write ups that have them.

Funny how no one is reporting on this.

Donate to the Relief Fund for the Flood ... note, I don't really know how much money is "enough" for such a relief, but the flood looks to be quite devastating.

I have to wonder about it.

Panama is on the equator and is affected by The North Atlantic Current, which is affected now by drastic changes.

It started in December. It is still flooded, and they still have no power.
I never saw it on the dish, nor the internet.

I only found out today, by word of mouth. I think that is strange.
