It is the same thing, just a different tool. We grew up with guns, you grew up with knives.

It matters not the tool used, the intent is what counts. Guns no more kill people than knives do. Both require someone with intent to use them in that manner.

If not limiting gun acces, limiting Bullet acces ( by hard control and clip size below 10-15 ) it would be the best solution !

How about you worry about Canada and let US citizens worry about their laws. You obviously don't understand the culture or gun culture for that matter of the US, so talking to you is like talking to a caveman about a rocket. Your not going to solve any gun problem by limiting clips. Plain and simple. Go use google and learn about violent crime stats. Again, because one lone fruitcake goes and does some crazy thing, we need to change the laws? That is a perfect example and definition of a sheep, if I have ever read one...

I don't understand why others don't have easy access to any firearms they want, including high capacity magazine.

Here in the US, we can own machine guns, submachineguns, fully automatic rifles, fully automatic pistols, and let me tell you, they are no fun whatsoever with small lots of ammunition.

Why in hell does England have a Queen? What do you need a Queen for? There's absolutely zero functional use for a royal family.

You could take the properties of the Royal Family and sell the lot to Donald Trump, who could tear a lot of the older crap out, and come back with new facilities and gambling casinos.

The reason Canadians don't have that much use for firearms, is because they perceive, consciously or subconsciously that we Americans have their back.

Come to think of it, there's some really stupid crap in other nations that I simply don't understand. I mean, you accept and put up with some highly inefficient crap.

Why?

I don't really understand the mindset that would allow some of that crap.

The only noticeable effect that the previous ban had on mags is that they prices went up. This time, every person that knows how to make a mag, is making one. I have somewhere around 40 30 round mags and a couple of drums...(the price was right). Everyone I know has a pile of them, and very unlikely that the local sheriff or the town cops will come out to get anything and will prolly stand with you.

Look, the United States, Canada, Britain, Ireland, Scotland, Australia, and New Zealand all share a common language - American.

Folks have been speaking American for centuries, and yet we have these small "differences."

I don't know why, but your Brits can't even properly spell the word "color." You also have a problem with eons, aging, bevy, catalog, defense, favor, and a couple hundred other American words.

May I suggest you guys get an American Dictionary, I think Oxford has a good one, and study up.

Once we all get on the same page with everyone speaking the same language, American, this should free us up to greater understandings and tolerance of minor differences and cultural icons.

Good ol' Carolyn McCarthy. Never waste the opportunity to get some mileage out of a tragedy.

She was pimping her gun ban back before Viriginia Tech. While that event was going on, she quickly sprang into action and added more restrictions to her gun ban bill. This was done while they were still bagging bodies.

Also, I believe that on youtube, you can find her saying that she didn't know what a barrel shroud was, but it should be banned.
