Hell, back then, those servers belonged to the host. Watching this site over the years, evolving to what it is now, is mind blowing.

Back then the CIA trolls and the self titled World War 3 "experts" were yet on the scene.

It is amazing that this site has grown to the level it has. I wonder if Bill and the others could have imagined back then how far it has come?

He posted once on a thread I was on. I was having a knock down drag out fight with someone (who has since been banned) a few years ago and he came in and set everything straight.

ahh those were the days.

i did like the old board and in some ways by the time it got round to the second generation board it was a great site.
i sometimes feel it is a bit too big now, and not as nicer a place than it used to be.....However it is still a GREAT place that i visit every day.
