Strange massive tears in the solar surface- Earth quivers

I wonder, if a "planet x" deal is on it's way, would it effect the sun like that?

Anyway, I doubt what you're seeing are actual "tears" in the Sun.
What you're seeing are cooler regions (3,000–4,500 K) on the Sun's surface - completely normal.

If this condition is normal, how common is it?

Yes, the next few days should be interesting. Might take as long as a week or so for the Earth's reaction to fully manifest. The volcano and earthquake action should be even more wild. I am worried about another wave of mass animal deaths.

Interesting thought...In my opinion it absolutely would have this sort of effect. It would also explain many other strange anomalies that our planet is experiencing at the moment.

-Jetstream anomalies
-Thermo Haline Circulation System breakdown
-Worldwide volcanic activity (not abnormal but increasing)
-Earthquakes, Sinkholes & Cracks in the earth
-Magnetosphere anomalies
-Pole Migration at an accelerated rate
-Climate change
-Strange solar activity

If you see that Battros link I posted (here), he thinks its possible that the mass deaths that came just after the new year were related to the coronal hole and reaction to that but it was about a week or so later. We'll see, I would guess in 5 - 9 days for it kicking into gear but I am not a space scientist.

Not just you, friend. Someone above posted a direct link to the pic. If you enlarge it, you'll see that it's dated June 15, 2010. (I assume that is what 20100615 means?) It looks just like the OP pic from the article. Either the article shows an old pic, or the Sun looked the same way 7 months ago. Dunno. Ideas anybody?

I'm beginning to think 2012 theory could be right! But i'm gonna remain skeptical

Strange seeing as i've just come from the same site and everything is fine.
Whats the deal with people posting the pics from june of last year as well, talk about trying to make something outta nothing.

Just a thought: Perhaps the sun, like a cell, has divided and will have already been two separate suns! Thus, there are two suns.

I thought this post read tears as in crying.

And maybe they are - look at the destruction of this planet.

Exactly, it is an old picture from a rubbish source.
Not to mention it is not a massive tear in the sun to begin with, it's just the sun doing what suns do.
