ok i have a question since your the earthquake expert.. why has vanatu been gettn hit with multiple quakes daily 50 plus ?

There are far more expert folks on the Quake Watch thread that can answer that but, again, Vanuatu is a volatile area - and most notably still reeling (aftershocks) from a recent 7.6 event.

Here in Canterbury, NZ, where we had a 7.1 4 months ago we are also still getting aftershocks - up to over 5,000 now since Sept 4 - again, normal.

Right... just waiting for the usual crew to chime in and say that this is all normal and has nothing to do with any of the other events going on in the world, like flooding, mass animal die offs, blizzards, volcanic activity increase....

But it's all just normal... we've all seen this before, right?

~Namaste

It's all normal... that area is volatile - have you checked the historical seismicity maps?

In fact, it would abnormal NOT to have a big one there regularly....

neic.usgs.gov...

Yes, I realize the area is tectonically active... that's not the point....

Combine this with everything else going on simultaneously... I know what coincidence is, and it's usually based on a mathematical statistical anomaly based on ODDS. The odds of everything that has been happening occurring all within the same week? Geologically speaking, a week, even a month, might as well be a blink. These kinds of changes happening all at once is not normal. When animals die in mass, there are quakes and volcanoes, it's usually connected in the LOCAL area... meaning, the ground shakes, then it spews lava, then animals die... but all over the world? Come on....

The world is turning and doing what it always does - it spews lava and rocks the plates - I personally don't see anything to be worried about.

You will see what you want to see.

Later folks - check out the Quake Watch thread (now into its third year of running on ATS) and follow exactly what's going on on the world of big quakes www.abovetopsecret.com...

All these downgrades, redactions, and "corrections", smell like cover ups to me.

WE ALL KNOW THIS WAS THE 6 6 6 QUAKE.

Time to wait and see..

Yeah, isn't always time to wait and see? LOL

Look, the Earth pops and cracks like a 100 year old house. You can't lay awake all night listening to those pops and cracks, while still remaining sane.
