Is self love. There is no love more internal, and more real, than ones own love for himself.

Therefore, the idea of selflessness has to work paradoxically into the concept of self love. Anyone who loves himself will seek whats best for himself. And when one learns that what is best is for him/her to show love and kindness and compassion for others.

We see this in words like Kind and Kinship. Only one who appreciates his own worth and loves himself is able to truly love and appreciate others.

Not sure… I think the truest love is mother’s love to her child(ren) … in my opinion

I tend to agree with you.

But when you really think about it, when the mother is pregnant, is she not a bit self-centered in getting the proper nutrition, sleep, and exercise (love of self) in order to bring in the paradoxical "Truer Love?"

In order to love yourself, you must first realize there is no self.
The only logic you will find in that statement is the logic of God. God does not speak with words. You must feel the logic.

The Truest Love has no direction, if it is directed, it excludes the rest.

True... Same as for a mother trying to be careful and staying healthy to have the longevity of taking care of her children… knowing that no one can replace her…. I quit smoking for my boys few years ago…

It is all self. There is no self.

It is all selfish and selfless love.

I guess that makes it easy though, right? without a paradox getting underfoot?
