All the news here is talking about is the playoffs (NFL) and recreating the Arizona gunmans final moments before the shooting rampage. Bigger than the size of texas?? Are you

Typical of an American to drag up a small insignificant thing from the past and make it out like it actually means something. FYI - the producers of the show already apologised - it was a skit performed by members of the public and hadn't been screened before they went on stage. See, if you had of actually done some research on it you would know that - instead you'd rather drag up anything you can get your grimey fingers around and slap it in our faces without knowing ANYTHING about the situation.

Let alone the fact that just because an insignificant American thinks its racist, doesn't mean the rest of the world does - it just means you are stuck in your little American world and think that extends to every country on Earth.

The disaster in Queensland has been widely reported in headline news on all Canadian major networks since the floods started several weeks ago. I am not surprised at the lack of coverage in the US as 'Americans' are routinely fed only limited and propagandized stories.

The performers in the Hey hey skit were mostly Indian with one Lebanese guy. The guys wearing black face were mostly black / brown, but yeah all Queensland deserves to die or something...

On topic... looks like Victoria's floods are getting more widespread.

I live in CT - have seen coverage in the local paper, on the tv network news, and on foxnews.com it's usually on the front page. So I can't understand people here in the US saying they haven't seen anything. Guess they haven't been looking too hard.

The only thing Ive seen anything about the Australia floods , was on BBC.

Not seen one thing about it in MSM.

Granted, I don't watch the news (or anything else) much these days...

But I have been around a television the past 3-4 days , being at my brothers house..
and he always has the news of some kind on..

I believe we even commented on the fact that we only heard about it through BBC~
and not heard or seen one thing about it in any other "news".

But of course..
you know...

in amerika,
"News" consists of what celebrity is screwing another,
what the hollywood "stars" had for lunch,
what kind of toilet paper they prefer...
their favorite perfume,
etc
etc
etc.

Point is...
if it is meaningless, and shallow...
it will make "the news"..

If it is something substantial,
Something important that everyone should know about...
Chances are very good..
You will not see it in the MSM/News.
